Too much Filibustering and moral postering
The main character Devon gets stuck in a war between an unaware humanity and Them- the personified aspects of natural phenomenon.Story drags in a lot of the chapters and especially at the show trial of humanity towards the end.You can find better pop psychology sci fi action books out there. But if you do take this book on, be prepared to skip pages. You won't miss much.

Action and the Big Questions
Interesting to read a book so heavily into action scenes while still making time for discussing the big questions of being human. I didn't feel like the book came to a definitive conclusion, but that's ok, the conversations need to continue.

Great Read
I read this book and like Devon, I was immediately pulled into the world of Them. I could not stop reading the book and I read page after page trying to figure out the mysteries and understanding how Devon's life had been completely pulled apart. The characters were well developed and the book was fast paced which made it a great read. I love reading books which are fast paced because this stimulates my mind and makes me want to read it even faster. Them seem very very scary in the beginning and I absolutely loved how the book progressed as it got towards the end.And can I just say how much I love the cover? It is brilliant and instantly drew me in. Stunning job on the cover. The other part is that the conversations that the characters had in the book made sense and gave me something to think about which I love. I will be watching out for more from this author.

Must Read If You Aren't A Sheep
Yassssssssssssss..... Is the first thing I want to scream after reading this book. Give me more! Give me more!!!!!! After I read approximately 75% of the book, I almost didn't want to finish it because the book is so thought provokingly good. It really makes you say what if. It makes the mind think. So after I got tired of playing the what if game, like well what if Devon could go back in time with Sarah... Or what if Devon died.... I finally read the book to see how the author chose for the story to end. Keep in mind that every page is filled with so many words and description that each page is like a chapter of it's own. I'm reading the pages, and not paying attention to anything... Not time... Not hunger.... And not even paying attention to what page I was on. I was reading a page as the two men are having such a long debate as to what will take place and then I turned the page to keep reading only to find I had read the authors last words. I need more!!!!!! I want a prequel to this novel. I want to know more of Devon and Sarah's relationship. What was Sarah talking to him about. Give me more!!!!!!!

GREAT IMAGINATION
A wild roller coaster ride of a book....travel through an alternative universe and meet the semi-mythological creatures born of nature that rule our lives. fun, fast and unpredictable.
