We picked up the Nordic Elk mattress bag for our move, and honestly, it was perfect. Super easy to get the mattress in, sturdy material, and it felt way more secure than the thin plastic bags you usually find. What really sold me, though, was how well it held up during transport—we ended up hitting rain on the way, and this thing kept the mattress completely protected. No leaks, no damp spots, nothing. Just solid quality and peace of mind. If you’re moving and want something that can actually handle real-life conditions, this is the one. Totally worth it. Based on its durability, Im sure it would be great for long term storage as well.

These are very well made and fit the box spring and mattress perfectly. Easy to use and seems very sturdy. The handles made it easy to move to storage.

I got this to protect, store, and move my mattress with topper and bedding all together. When not in use, I am storing my flattened moving boxes in this bag since I don't have a garage or storage, and I needed a way to hide and move the boxes when not in use. It would also be good to protect bicycles, holiday yard decorations, or any other large items you need to protect and put into storage, the attic, or the basement. As soon as I received the bag, I opened it to inspect the size, durability, and zippers. All checked out perfectly. There is more than enough room for my mattress, etc, the material is thick and strong, the seams and handles secure, and the zippers tough and smooth. I put my boxes into the bag and found it can easily handle being dragged around on the carpet with 40 flattened moving boxes inside. The handles are well-placed, making it easy for me to move the bag by myself. I am confident this bag can keep bugs out, and it is moisture-resistant. I was almost tempted to pull it out to my back porch to store the boxes there, but I don't want to put it into full sunlight, rain, snow, or under the scrutiny of curious ravens. That might be more than it can handle.

I will never again move a mattress without one of these bags. This is essentially a mattress-shaped, heavy-duty tarp. (think 2-3 ply of blue IKEA bags.) We accidentally dragged our bagged mattress across pavement for a bit and there was no damage to the bag at all. The handles on the sides of the bag are strongly attached. Location of handles made it easy (for a short person!) to get a good grip for shuffling the mattress around, or lifting it on top of a car for a short, well-strapped ride to a storage unit. I have a mattress stored in the bag at the moment. Can’t speak to longevity yet, but I feel rather confident based on the quality of the product.

This worked super well. I have moved multiple times buying the plastic version from HD. this is far better and worth the cost. no tears, perfect seal, and easy to clean off if you need to. The material is thick, good quality, easy to slide on leveraging the bed frame. Zipper works just fine.

Perfect fit for my queen mattresses. Helped out with the move to prevent my mattresses getting dirty and just easier to transport. My only bad comment is that it doesn’t come with a store away bag when I’m not using the bag.

have a Purple mattress, and anyone who owns one knows just how heavy and awkward it can be to move. Thank goodness I picked the Nordic Elk Mattress Bag! The material is extremely durable, way stronger than any other mattress bag I’ve used. We were able to slide the mattress through stairs and narrow hallways without worrying about tears or damage. The handles made a huge difference too, giving us control and making the whole process so much easier. The mattress stayed completely protected from dirt, scuffs, and moisture. Honestly, this bag turned what could’ve been a stressful move into a smooth one. If you have a heavy mattress, this is absolutely worth every penny!

Super Convenient! I ordered a king size for my Queen size mattress just because my mattress is a bigger Queen mattress due to the pillow top and I wasn't certain that a regular Queen size would fit from previous moving experiences. I love that it has moving straps for the movers to transfer it easily. The zipper quality is impeccable so your mattress is safe and secured. Overall it works for it's intended purpose. Very great quality.

This is sturdy, like a great quality tarp sewn into a bag with carrying handles. This helped with moving old bed to garage and would be a great bag for storage
