Love how my hair looks
My takeaways after the first weeks:1) The low, middle and high are heat settings. I know that’s mentioned in the product description but the instructions kept referring to them as speeds, so when I first used it on middle and then switched to low and the fan speed was higher, I thought something was wrong. I actually requested a replacement, which of course did the same thing because that’s how it’s supposed to work. But I’m so used to other appliances having different speed settings (sometimes in addition to different heat settings) that low and high having the same speed while middle has a lower speed was confusing.2) They sent the replacement immediately so bonus points for quick response.3) I wanted to take off a star because the instructions weren’t very clear, but I can’t make myself because my hair LOOKS SO GOOD!!4) I have fine hair that’s thick, so we’re talking 45 minutes to blow dry normally with a round brush plus a few minutes to fine tune with a flat iron, or several hours to air dry in the evening + 20-30 minutes to straighten or curl in the morning. All that time wasted is gone! I do towel dry and then let it air dry for about half an hour. Then it’s maybe 30 minutes (I haven’t actually timed it) to blow dry and style at the same time. And my fine hair that ALWAYS looks frizzy no matter what I do to it is now shiny!!! I haven’t had it tested in the high humidity of the Deep South in summer yet, but so far it’s amazing even after I had to run through a rain storm the other day.If anything changes down the road, I’ll update my review, but for now I am more than happy with this product.

Holy s*... It actually works!!
Wow. I was SHOCKED this actually worked. I know everyone says this but I really don't write reviews hardly ever. but since I rarely see people with my hair types before and after pictures, I try to represent mine here.I have long, very thick hair, and a lot of it with a very wavy texture. Even my extremely talented hair stylist says that if she had my hair, she would never blow dry it. It usually takes me two days for my hair to completely air dry at a minimum. About 2 hours for me to blow dry it and I usually give up a quarter way through.Granted I did this with my hair sopping wet and didn't really section properly, I am very impressed and will definitely use again and like I'm supposed to the next time. But even as is, I'm shockingly impressed. I even started laughing within the first 5 minutes because I was surprised that a section that would normally take me 20 minutes to dry (and looks like someone had a fight with in my hair) was done within a few minutes.... And looked good!!I can't wait to see how it will look when I use it properly.if you have long or thick or difficult hair or cannot manage to use a round brush and a blow dryer at the same time, this is definitely for you!it is extremely loud but the results are worth it so just pop in some ear plugs or earbuds and you'll be fine. Once I stuck in some earbuds, it was fine. Took about 30 minutes from sopping wet to this.

Wow! Just Wow!
My wife of nearly 50 years asked for a new hair dryer for Christmas. She told me she liked everything she read about the Dyson but absolutely forbade me to spend that much money for a dryer. She had really loved the dryer I bought for her several years ago, but it had finally given up the ghost. The company that sold that one is long gone, so I picked out one that had pretty good reviews. As a backup, I looked into brushes that were also blow dryers and the concept was just quirky enough that I thought it might be an interesting experiment. This one had good reviews and I really decided to get a dryer and this brush dryer and let her figure out which one she wanted to keep. So, on the first use, she raved about the brush dryer, and told me she was going to keep both the dryer and the brush dryer. After about a week, she announced that she liked the brush dryer so much she wanted me to send one to our daughter-in-law who has really thick hair. That got me love from my wife for doing it and rave reviews from my daughter-in-law for being such a good guy.On several occasions since then, my wife has expressed how much she loves this brush dryer. I'm a really happy camper.

Pretty good for my course, thick hair
I was reticent to purchase the Revlon brand of hairdryer at $59.99, so when this brand appeared as a lightening deal I decided that at this price it was worth a shot. I have tried what feels like every type of dryer, curler, flat iron, curling brush - and none of them usually can tame the frizz that I have. My hair is naturally curly and course, but the curl isn't great unless I go through a whole "curly girl" process (which is worth it sometimes - Google it if you think you have just wavy hair). I wanted something that I could use 1) to dry my hair after washing quickly without leaving it frizzy and 2) to use on days when I'm not washing my hair but I need to smooth it out and give it better shape. This did a pretty good job. The only reason I can't rate it great is that if my hair doesn't dry fast enough with a hair dryer then there is frizz. So there was some frizz - but I think for someone who as more fine hair (or less than my COVID long hair) it might be perfect. It's a bit big and kind of clunky - the handle is big, but not unmanageable. I did burn my finger tips once (not badly) when I went to grab the end of the dryer to roll it through some hair. I think it will just take getting used to. I have no idea what the Revlon brand is like (though it looks pretty similar), so I can't compare, but for half the price this works well enough so far.
