Heavy Duty, NonStick Professional 11 Inch. Skillet/Frying Pan - Dupont NonStick Coating, Stainless Steel

I have used this pan for some weeks now. It has replaced all the other pans on my stove. Its thick heavy bottom spreads heat nicely and the teflon coating is durable. Teflon is a plastic and requires some care to prevent damaging it but the coating on this pan seems tougher than the others I have used. This is clearly not a K-Mart pan but a serious heavy duty cook pan. A hint, never use scouring pads on teflon, no metal tools, and a cleaning with hot water and a soft sponge is all that is needed to keep this pan ready for action. Soap is rarely needed and I discourage the use of the stuff on my teflon.

Non stick my rear end, I take care of my pans and this pan sticks no matter what you oil the pan with, I was so disappointed!

The perfect non-stick skillet. We use on a gas stove top and it works wonderfully. Heats evenly. Definitely easy clean up. Don't even have to soak it at all, just wipe clean with soap and water.

I hate reading a wall of five-star reviews, getting a product, and it being sub-par; that's what happened here, though. The pan, as mentioned, is very heavy duty stainless steel. If I were buying a pan for its heft and apparent sturdiness, I would probably be pleased. However, I bought this for its supposed non-stick capability, which it doesn't have. I was specifically going off of what one reviewer said about this being the "best fried egg pan" he/she had ever owned. Well, my first attempt with a fried egg ended up with the egg stuck and eventually the yolk breaking when I tried to slide it out. That first egg was done with butter in the pan, so I figured I'd try it without butter-same result! The next day, I decided to try to saute some mushrooms and onions. The instructions say to "use plenty of water" in this pan, so I did so. Well, with water still in the pan, the onions were sticking! It's great that this pan would probably resist the warping found in, say, T-Fal pans since it's so heavy duty, but it simply is *not* non-stick! I really don't wanna baby a pan as not to scratch the toxic Teflon when it isn't even going to stop things from sticking.

Cook with it almost everyday - easy to clean, no issues. Great pan.

Very attractive skillet but returned it as I found 2 for the price of this one.
