Nikwax TENT & GEAR SOLARWASH, TENT & GEAR SOLARPROOF, Tent Cleaner and Waterproof Spray For Camping, Cleans and Protects Against UV Damage

Really easy to apply and goes further than I thought, I sprayed the tent with water first then used the Nikwax, after application, went over the whole tent with damp micro cloth (actually a window cleaning one on extending pole) to make sure everywhere was coated. then repeated the process and gave tent another coat. I believe there is enough for another coat. I have a 5 man air tent, to give you an idea of size. The Nikwax has also brought out the colour a little, it had got rather faded. My tent didn’t leak before so can’t comment on that, but I feel it’s life has been extended

I made the mistake of pitching my tent under pine trees in order to be sheltered from the sun over a hot weekend. And whilst it was nice and shaded, the tent was covered in sticky pine sap! Nightmare! After much Googling I removed as much sap as I could with rubbing alcohol then went over it with this tent wash. It was so easy to use following the instructions and afterwards my tent was pretty much sap free (it took hours of work all in!). I'd definitely recommend this tent wash. I'm going to see what else I can use it on!

Good product, easy to apply cleans very well use sponge on stains or a brush

This product did a great job at cleaning a very mouldy tent. Slept it in the tent after use in a storm and no water came through the wall of the tent.

Bought in error as wanted proofer not cleaner, so my mistake. Used it anyway on a grubby old tent which I no longer use and it has cleaned it up.

This is not Waterproofing as the advert says this is to stop the sunlight affecting the item. Highly misleading advert, expensive junk in short
