Grizzly Pollock Oil Dog Food Supplement, 16 Ounce

This is my second purchase of oils from this company and I will never go without this! My mini yorkie was a mess when I started my first bottle of this - dry skin, itching ALL THE TIME, thinning hair on her backside, her seizures were more and more frequent, stinky, like clear the room stinky. I had tried switching her to an even higher quality of food, adding other supplements, but this is what made the difference. Within 4 days she stopped itching so much. Within a month her hair and skin were 10x better. Now 6 months into it, she has nearly no seizures, smells better and her hair is completely regrown in full and shiny! I also use this on my puppy and her hair is full and shiny and soft! The ONLY downside, is their breath. It's a little fishy. I add a sprinkle of parsley into their food and it helps! Haha

I adopted a 10 week old puppy from a shelter and he came with kennel cough, an ear infection, stomach worms, and mites. I immediately put him on Nexgard to kill the mites and once they were gone, he was left with a nasty bacterial and fungal skin infection (which he is still fighting). Because of this, he lost a lot of fur, was red all over his skin, and had dark bald spots everywhere. I started giving him this oil (along with his treatment) and his fur and skin has gotten a lot better. His fur has grown back so much and is so thick and shiny, and those dark spots are going away. I know that the medical treatment played a big role in him improving, but I honestly believe that this oil helped his skin and fur recover faster. I will be giving him this oil for the rest of his life to keep his skin and fur healthy.

So someone who worked in a pet store told me about this product, said it made his pets' fur very lustrous after about 2-4 weeks use. I am a big believer in Omega 3's, but was skeptical. It was on sale so I thought I'd give it a try. This stuff has done wonders for our dog and now it is indispensable in our household. First of all, it did make her coat more beautiful after about 3 weeks -it became softer and more lustrous and shiny. BUT, the unexpected thing was that it cleared up her persistent ear infections! HOLY SMOKES, we have spent a fortune at the vet trying to help our dog with this and nothing would help. All the meds, all the diets, all the cleanings...she just has this one ear that would keep getting ear infections no matter what we did. We weren't even thinking that this stuff would help her ears, but after a few weeks her infection cleared up and we haven't seen a new one in months. We have a big dog, so we squirt about 4 drops/squirts into her food daily and mix it up with the food. She is a picky eater but never rejected it, in fact, it seems she likes the taste. Also, like some people reported more energy or strength in their dog, I would say that appears to be true as well. Anyway, if you have a dog with persistent ear infections, give this a try. I hope it helps your dog like it helped ours, and that it saves you some money. Vet visits and meds are so expensive these days ($250-$500!), so this has been a bargain for us in comparison.

Great product! It would be even better if it came in a dark, glass bottle.

I have a Shinba Inu (23lbs) and a Pug (18lbs) and both of them get a little itchy/allergic in the spring and summer. My vet recommended trying some salmon oil supplement in their food each day. Pollock oil has basically the same benefits to it as Salmon oil, but in higher concentration.I put 1 pump morning and night in each of their food and the itching goes away completely! I can visibly tell that they are feeling much better when using this salmon oil. I thought maybe it was a just a bad allergy year last year, so I stopped giving them the oil for a week and within 2-3 days of stopping, they were back to itching themselves again this year. Our Shiba tends to get a little moody when that happens too, so this stuff really is a life saver for us!As an added benefit, this stuff also makes their coat silky and they don't shed near as bad!I've used: Grizzly Salmon Oil All-Natural Dog Food Supplement in Pump-Bottle Dispenser, 16 Ounces with similarly good results, but Pollock oil is cheaper with supposedly even better concentration of omega-3/6.

Grizzly pollock oil for dogs seems to be effective. Doesn't smell obnoxiously strong (disclaimer - I lost my sense of smell from COVID, but my wife says it is OK). It is easy to squirt on his food and he seems to like it

My vet suggested adding fish oil to my dog's diet because she had some itching and flaky skin. I put a couple of pumps of this into her meal twice a day and after 2-3 weeks I couldn't believe the difference in her coat. She has always had a coarse coat - pretty much everywhere except her head and ears. (We adopted her a year ago.) But now it is soft and smooth and feels great to pet. Less itching. The best thing about this product is that it seems to be odorless. I do not experience any fishy smell when I put it on her food, and she gobbles her food right down. Another plus is that it does not need to be refrigerated after opening. I definitely recommend this product!
