While the product looks good, performance-wise it hasn’t been what I expected. Heat tolerance is very low. Obviously, I’m not expecting to put a pot or pan that’s very hot on it. But just a normal dinner plate with food warped the plastic on one of them. Now, I’m very careful not to place my coffee mug on it. It also has two different sides to it, one with the slick clear plastic and the other with the design raised on it. I’m using it with the clear plastic side up (the white pattern design on the bottom touching the table). Perhaps the intent is to have the clear plastic on the bottom if the pattern portion is more heat resistant. However, if that was the case, cleaning would not be easy at all because food would stick into the crevices of the design. They look nice and were cuttable (which is what I needed). But functionally, they are not holding up well after 3 weeks of use. Unfortunately, they’ve been a waste of money for me since I’ll have to get something else more durable.

These placements are so pretty and go perfect with our decor. I’ve received so many compliments on them. I will probably order an extra set just in case something happens. The only flaw I see is spills need to be wiped asap. My son got egg on the mat and after scrubbing and spraying it’s stained yellow :(

So, I actually bought this to use as a protective doily type thing for my bedside table. Literally is working perfectly, I highly recommend trying this. It's both grippy and protective. And looks so pretty because it's clear and you can see the wood underneath. Never stop selling these!

These are great placemats. There is solid plastic on the backside of them. I am using that side as the up-side because it makes cleanup very easy and that side is stain proof. The “right” side stains easily. These truly look like crocheted placemats. I love them.

These are pretty cheap looking. I give them a 7/10 for cuteness on arrival; however, the edges are curling after using them for a while. They are fairly easy to clean but I'm not sure I'd recommend them.

Although these placemats are pretty and seem easy to clean, four of the six placemats were obviously damaged before being packaged, as the Amazon box they arrived in was completely intact/undamaged. I’ve contacted the seller for replacements; hopefully they’ll arrive soon as I was hoping to put them to use this weekend.

I ordered six mats only received four. Looks low quality if you set a cold drink directly on the mat condensation develops between the mat and the table. Would not recommend.

They do look crocheted and went nicely with my new tablecloth. Warning: hot dishes leave a permanent, unsightly mark. Use a trivet or potholder under hot plates.
