Clever, easy, and useful
My brother is a climber, so i've seen plenty of climbing grade equipment, and these do look and feel the part. Make no mistake though, these are NOT for climbing, as is clearly marked by their weight limits.Use:I use these for hanging various bits of hiking equipment and video/filming equipment off the hooks and straps of my bag.Quality:As i said, very good, solid as anything, keeping in mind the weight capacity they are designed for.Design:If you're familiar with the traditional carabiner, they snap on real quick, but from one side with one opening. The 'S' design of these things gives you two openings on opposite sides, which is darn convenient, especially if you want the hook to stay fastened to wherever you're anchoring it to, while you take on/take off numerous bits from the other end.The latches are equally as clever, they seem spring loaded, but there's no spring at all. A simple offset in how they are connected to the hook, gives them a natural pull to the locked position, and a twist in the latch along with the connectors being free-rotating, allows for a tight but easy give to open it up. Love that simple elegant solution! And of course, they're cheap. Not quite as cheap as the 3 pack of small carabiners i can get at the dollar store, which by the way are again NOT for climbing. Those are plenty sufficient for many of the things you might use these 'S' hooks for, but once you use these hooks, you'll not want to use those dollar store things again.

Nice Utility Clips - For Whenever
I don't actually have a dedicated use for these clips, owning a couple of sets in the #1 to #4 range (including this set here). The 3 pack is a nice value, so it's a good place to start. The nice thing about these clips is that they do well at keeping items connected for a temporary fix and are easy to apply. I also use velcro strips to link things together, but usually for those items that I know I'll be disconnecting and reconnecting regularly. The S-Biners are nice because the hooks are sturdy and quicker to use then prepping even pre-cut velcro strips. Among the better uses I have found for the clips is to use them for cable control when I need to have cables linking different devices on the go. As other reviews have said, there are a great many uses for theses clips and it won't be hard to do something useful with them.

Excellent Pack of 'Biners for the Price
I only ordered this 3-pack because I wanted the large (#4) size 'biner and I discovered that a single #4 was selling for more than the 3-pack... as such, I haven't actually used either of the two smaller 'biners, so I can't vouch for their efficacy, although upon visual inspection they appear to be of the same quality construction as the large one, though obviously not rated for the same weight. The #4 S-Biner, however, I can absolutely and enthusiastically recommend without the slightest hint of hesitation. I've owned one of these before and generally just use it to attach my keys to my ACU belt loop, but on one occasion in particular I used it -in conjunction with approximately 10' of 550 paracord retrieved from my boots- to hold my weight (148 lbs) in an emergency situation. The #4 'biner is only rated to 75 lbs, but I can personally attest that it will hold 148 lbs without any sign of stress cracking or bending. This S-Biner, along with a length of 550 paracord, can truly be a life-saver and should at the very least be included in any BOB kit, if not actually carried on your person every day like I do.I've seen that other reviewers have had issues with their keys and etc. slipping off the 'biner, and although I can conceive of scenarios in which this might occur, I can honestly say that in almost three years of using this device every day, I have never personally had this happen. Take as a given that it's possible, then, but I think it's fairly unlikely so long as you pay attention to how you're using it.I absolutely recommend the #4 S-Biner to everyone.Couple of technical specs, since it can be a pain to find the specs on Amazon:#4 S-Biner: Rated to 75 lbs,, measures 3-1/2" long x 1-1/2" wide.#3 S-Biner: Rated to 25 lbs., measures 2-5/8" long x 1-1/8" wide.#2 S-Biner: Rated to 10 lbs., measures 2" long x 7/8" wide.

Great product for specific uses!
These S-biners are GREAT! They fill several needs I've been having. I work in a data center and these S-biners #4 and #5 are great for hooking my tools and laptop bags to the cage/frame instead of laying them on the floor where people could trip or step on them. We have one set of keys to the server cages and I use an S-biner #1 on my badge to hold on to the keys which is great way to know quickly if I have the keys and don't leave the building with them. I keep quite a bit of stuff in my laptop bag and S-binders #1 and #2 are great way to add extra orginization! I do agree with one of the other reviewers in that S-biners are not very good at keeping keys together in my pocket, but then again, I find small carbiners work much better for that.

Excellent product
I really enjoy this product for a number of reasons:1) It is 1 solid piece of metal which minimizes the annoying swing effect keychains have and usually eliminates it completely.2) The two compartments mean you can have two keyrings on you and never have to worry about grabbing the wrong one.3) If you feel around you can operate this keychain with 1 hand without looking.4) I have never had any issues with the medium or large one opening on their own and never used the small one.5) It is a low profile black so it won't catch the light and glint. The black seems to not be wearing off much at all.6) It doesn't jingle like crazy when you walk!Cons:The only con I have found is once when I was closing it my shirt got closed in it. Nothing happened but I could see closing it on your shirt and then pulling the shirt might also pull the keyring out. Easily avoided though by simply watching what you are doing when you put stuff on it.
