We are in love with these! Perfect pacifiers but they will bounce so keep your eyes peeled for them!
These are such perfect pacifiers! My son loves them and I am happy with the quality/natural ingredients as well. We only use two pacifier brands, this and Chicco. I am a little nervous about any that are not a complete, 1 piece due to some recalls of the two parts coming undone and the child swallowing. I know its rare but just puts my mind at east having 1 solid piece. My favorite thing about them is that there is a gap between the bulb portion and the back of the pacifier (shown in pic) This seems like it is more comfortable to me, it leaves a space for his teeth and lips. Other pacifiers seem to have a smaller space and doesn't leave room for the lips to rest. If that makes any sense the way I explained it. The rubber is very soft and pliable which also seems more comfy. The only complaints that I would have, which are so incredibly minor, is that they don't come with a case or cover. I really think thats important since they get shoved into diaper bags or around the house. I mean ya you can just rinse them or use pacifier wipes (or the default mommy's mouth) when you are out and about, I still prefer a case and its always nice when you don't have to buy one. Sooo we do have allot of the Chicco pacifier that we love also. They come with a huge case that I am the most gigantic fan of. Since they are so soft and pliable I can squeeze 3 of these babies into one of the Chicco cases! Due to the rubber they bounce and therefore easily misplaced. For this reason and due to them being a little more spendy than other brands, we only use them at home since I will eventually find them lol. Outside, they drop or he throws it, bounce bounce far away and who knows where they end up! We use the Chicco for when we are out and about. I really can't complain about the price because I think they are worth it. I also accidentally ordered the bulb shape, the chiccos are the angled shape. So I was worried that he wouldn't take to them but he actually loves it! Then, due to the bouncing and having lost a couple, I started using the Chicco while being out and thought he wouldn't like the two different shapes. It hasn't effected him at all he really likes both. Oh and he loves to chew on these also, not sure if he likes the texture or the squeaky sound of the rubber lol. I think I covered all the details so hope this review helps! Overall I definitely love them and would suggest! Oh one more thing! I recall reading a couple negative reviews about two things: The discoloration when you sanitize. yes, it turns a cloudy color but goes back to normal once it cools and dries. The other thing was the little indentation for their nose. Someone had said its really not that big of an indentation and not much of a difference if you order these or the round shape. I think I would agree with that. Im not sure if there is a price difference but if so and the round shape without the indentation is cheaper then I would just go with that. Since the bulb shape is consistent all around, my son constantly turns it upside down so that the nose indentation is on the bottom and it doesn't make any difference, it still doesn't hit his nose.

Love this more than the Ummy (and presumably the Eco Piggy). Fantastic natural pacifier.
These are my (and my baby's) favorite pacifiers. I love them because they are natural rubber, made of one piece (so no hidden moisture/mold/bacteria issues) and have the lowered curve to go below the nose. The handle is also super easy for my baby to hold and bends easily in case she falls asleep with it and rolls to the side. It doesn't poke her in the face like others I've used. We also have the Ummy and while it's similar I don't like how big the base is...it covers too much of my baby's face for my comfort, despite the holes in it. It's also harder to figure out which way is 'up' when it's dark and I'm trying to quickly put the pacifier in so she can fall back asleep...having the dipped curve in the base makes it to much easier. Since the whole thing is rubber my now teething baby likes to gum the entire thing when she's not using it for its intended purpose. It's kind of funny to watch. I was at Whole Foods the other day and saw the Eco Piggy, which I almost bought to try but didn't based on the reviews of the bulb part being huge. So I took it out to look at it and sure enough, it's massive! Unless you have a mammoth sized baby I'd skip that one. We're both happy with the Natursutten so I'm sticking to this one. For those who have complained about the rubber smell/taste...just wash and sterilize it a couple of times and that goes away.

Great pacifier!
By the time I had my second child I was soberly aware of the dangers of BPA and many other plastics, so I sought out a natural rubber pacifier. After a couple of duds, we found this. It's great! My daughter is 18 months and still uses the small rounded size. First and foremost, it had to be safe. And this is, in many different ways. Made from natural rubber and oils, I am not concerned about contaminating plastics. The shape is awesome; it cleans up easily and has no cracks for bacteria to hide when cleaning and sterilizing. When it first comes out of the box, it is oily. As others have mentioned, after you wash for the first time, instructions say to boil for a few minutes. Let it cool and you'll see the oils have been tamed. My daughter loves this paci. We once ran out of them after I noticed a crack on the side of the nipple (my fault - I let it go much longer than the recommended 6 weeks between replacement). That was a very long a night. I tried a few chemical laden replacements until I could get a new shipment in to no avail. All that being said, these are expensive. And the cost doubles when you realize that you are supposed to replace them every 6 weeks or so. Much longer than that and the pacifiers start to harden. But for all the benefits, I will continue to use these and have some peace of mind knowing I am using the safest product.

A great teether since our baby doesn't take a pacifier!
It feels kind of strange reviewing a product that I don't personally use, and it's likeness is in the hands of an infant, but will review the things I can!! Firstly, we have one of those babies that don't care for a soother (sorry, Canadian!)....pacifier, however, at 8 months old she loves chewing on it. I absolutely love that the entire soother is made of natural rubber. Like I said, we don't have a sucker, but since the whole thing is super soft rubber I feel comfortable letter her chew on it like a teether. The handle is a nice size, easy for her to hold, and to attach a soother clip. They seem to be of very good quality, and glad for the two pack as one walked off for about 4 months and was just found. I also like how there isn't any holes or crevices that food/dirt could get stuck in. They are rubber, so when it rolls across the floor it will pick up every last thing, but a small price to pay for having a safe item for my baby!! The only comparison I have is to Chicco's Natural Fit soft silicone in clear. We thought maybe our baby would like the silicone over rubber since her bottle nipple is silicone. Didn't really make a difference, she took it a couple times, but now just wants to chew on. The clear is definitely a drawback over the rubber, if you drop it good luck finding it! Unfortunately our dog seemed to like these one's better, destroyed one, and chewed the handle off the other. For me, I just like the natural rubber better. The silicone is harder, and I don't feel as comfortable letting her chew on the silicone material.

Best design, great quality, and worked great for all three of our breastfed babies
All three of our babies have used this brand and this particular design and they have all loved it! (Our first actually went through a few brands and designs before we got to this one and this was the favorite). All our babies have been nursed and there have been no issues with nipple confusion. The round base seems best so that they don't suck on the pacifier in one position and wear out the nipple quicker (see the other natursutten designs to see the ones with bases that leave space for the nose). We don't mind that the round base touches the nose and it actually seems like it might help sooth them as well. Of course, we also love that it's rubber, natural, and one piece. I highly recommend getting a boogin head pacigrip pacifier clip (the ones with the metal clips!) because those actually stay attached to kids clothes and then you'll never loose these slightly pricey but totally worth it pacifiers. We never had an issue with these becoming an attachment or long habit either. They used them less and less just like they nursed less and less and each child came to a point when they didn't seem to depend on them or use them as often, so I just took them away. No issues. My oldest was around 1 year old, and the second was almost 7 months old when he didn't need it anymore.

Not for me
Bulb at the end seems a little big. Pacifier itself is a little bulky. Didn’t like that you can’t sterilize product, hand wash only. This product just wasn’t for me, I prefer high grade silicone.

Well-made nontoxic pacifier that is safe for babies
First of all, let me say that this product is made of very high quality materials that are safe and nontoxic. My main reason for purchasing this pacifier as opposed to other ones is that this one is made of natural rubber and not some sort of synthetic material of questionable safety. Every year we hear of more plastics that have been shown to cause problems in the human body. This rubber comes from a tree and is safe. As it says, it appears to be made from a single piece of rubber without any sort of connections or seams for germs to build up in. When you first get it and disinfect it, be sure to fill up the pot of water high enough. Another reviewer complained about the rubber melting when she boiled it. My guess is that the water level was too low and the pacifier touched the metal of the pan which gets hot enough to melt the rubber. However, if the water is high enough that the rubber will not touch bottom (the rubber floats, by the way), you should not have any problems with melting the pacifier as the temperature of the water will not get above 100 C. Rubber begins to melt at 180 C, so boiling water will never ever get that hot. The reason I gave it only 4 stars is that I was hoping this would be loved by my son. However, he doesn't seem all that impressed by it. We have to physically hold it in his mouth for him to take it and suck on it. If this changes, I will update this review and give it 5 stars, but for now, I will keep it at 4.

Poorly designed & falling apart in three weeks
Although the packaging was exciting, the product was horrible. There's a note on the box which says that the pacifier should be thrown away as soon as any sign of biodegrading appears, which we thought was reasonable, since this is a natural rubber product. Unfortunately, the tip of the nipple was beginning to wear through within three and a half weeks of purchase. It was slimy and bumpy, and there were gouges in the rubber. Our baby never really took to it, which in hindsight was a good thing since he was apparently ingesting it, but it's not like the pacifier was seeing even a normal amount of wear and tear. Furthermore, the rubber handle isn't designed very well. It's a huge loop, which means even a newborn baby can easily grasp and pull it out of their own mouth. The inside of the handle would get caked with dirt every time we took him outside or anywhere remotely dirty because of the design. It was also hard to clean, since the rubber was falling apart and therefore sticky and porous. After three and a half weeks, we gave up and threw the pacifiers away, settling on a two pack of the generic green ones from the grocery store. We've been much happier with those. Bottom line? The box is adorable and the idea of a European pacifier is appealling, but if you actually intend to use them, go somewhere else.
