not water proof at all
i bought this for our vacation so that we could walk around in light rain. Within minutes of wearing this in a light downpour, I was soaked to the bone :( Not waterproof or wind proof but it did dry fast

Not water repellent
After reading other reviews I sized up and that was perfect, fit nicely exactly how I wanted. It was comfortable but unfortunately not water repellent. Within 15 min in light rain my clothes underneath were already damp. It might work better for sun protection than rain protection. It is nice and light

Well... as it was mentioned somewhat waterproof ...
Well...first of all... I ordered M... Got XXL... as it was mentioned somewhat waterproof... Well...... It is thin... So... You still get wet if you are in the rain...After all... It is UV JACKET... Not raincoat🙄🙄 when I went to pick up the jacket, it was raining... And Thanks for the XXL wrong size... I could have covered my backpack🙈🙈🙈

I ordered a medium as a gift for my grandson, and he received an XXL instead. Very disappointed.UPDATE: I received an immediate, very helpful response after posting the above. I am changing my rating based upon the excellent customer service. I should also mention that the jacket is a good quality one and will fit in time.

Definitely not “waterproof”
Jacket is pretty but certainly not “waterproof” as stated in product name. Extremely thin material. Also, I ordered an XS and received a L.
