Absolute comfort for plantar fasciitis. I never thought about shoes being a part of the healing process. I was wearing a compression sock, ankle brace, plantar fascilitis brace around my foot, a night splint, etc. for the healing process. Searching the internet, I found out that I should not walk barefoot, which I was doing. I came upon the Hoka shoes and decided to purchase the Hoka One Recovery 2 slipper because they were less than $100.00 and got good reviews. Amazing! Right away, my entire body felt in alignment! I could walk without an obvious limp and it eased the pain. I gave it 2 stars for the value because the price keeps changing almost daily so how could anyone feel they've received value for their money, when in the next couple of days, the shoes could be less or more.

These are super comfortable for kicking around the house when I don't want to wear shoes. As someone who has arthritis in my feet, Hokas are the best shoe I've ever worn. The sandal is no different. The comfort and support is noticed by NOT noticing. When your feet don't hurt, that's a great sign! Pro Tip: I am a US 10.5 and ordered the 10. I need wear them both with and without socks, and the tens were simply not large enough. The 11s are in the goldie locks zone: just right! Order one size up.

I got these because Hoka One One are some of the only shoes I can wear to deal with pain from arthritis in one foot and plantar fasciitis in the other. I wish the slides came in half sizes, because they are a tad big for me in my size - but I give them a pass on that, since they are designed for after-activity recovery. The biggest challenge for me has been the very strong chemical smell given off by these sandals. When I opened them I took them to the back porch and left them outside for a few days. Then I sprayed them off with the hose for a half hour, and left them in the lawn for a day. They still smell too much to be kept in the bedroom, so they are in the hallway for storage. The smell is less strong now than originally, and it's possible that it will continue to diminish over time, but if I had known how bad it was I may have chosen another option. That said, they are *very* comfortable, and easy to slip on when I get up in the morning. I will be wearing them despite the lingering odor. UPDATE: one month later and the chemical smell is significantly reduced. I can't smell it when I wear them, but can smell it if I get my face within about a foot of the sandals. They are still super comfortable - maybe more so now that they're a bit softened up. I will probably buy a second pair, and leave them on the back porch for several weeks to air out before bringing them inside. SECOND UPDATE, a year later: the smell did eventually go away completely, and the shoes are holding up incredibly well. They are in heavy rotation in the summer and I use them as slippers in the spring and fall. They really are comfortable, and despite the original odor I'd buy them again. They show almost no wear, and have not changed shape or stretched out the way crocs do.

Wife here. Wonderful arch support - FINALLY, a pair of shoes (I bought for indoors because slippers suck). I am practically crippled without sufficient arch support on hard floors. My feet do not hurt in these shoes and I can walk again, EVERY day. These shoes have wonderful cushioning and great arch support - the best yet. It's such a pleasure to wear these shoes. Thank you, for considering people with high arches and high insteps! I will definitely buy these again.

Like - the feel of the footbed is very comfortable in support and cushioning. Dislike - the material the sandal is made of is very sweaty. Ok if you like to wear socks with your sandals. Not good for hot climate. I wish it could be had in a different material. Dislike - made for much a thicker foot (top to bottom) than mine. The strap has about an extra 1/4 - 1/2 inch of space in it. If it had fit better, I'd have put up with the sweatiness. But much too loose. Length was correct.

I bought my first pair of Hoka Bondi 7 shoes 3 months ago. Bought my second HOKA Bondi 7 pair 2 months ago. Bought these Hoka Recovery Slides a week ago AND I will not wear any other brand of shoe again. As a nurse, I'm on my feet between 8-16 hour shifts and I have ZERO foot pain with HOKA! When I'm not at work, these Recovery Slides are comfortable, and keep the foot pain away. You HAVE to try them!!!

I love that they are easy to slide on, are comfortable, and provide support. I have flat feet and often times get sore feet from flat slippers. But this provides a good level of support and are easy to wear with or without socks. These are my new to-go slippers I put on as soon as I come home from work and take off right before bed.
