The botanical name was not given - just the name skullcap. The tea gave my wife a headache so I threw the rest away.

I don't nt know but it is all natural. If lead is in it it will be cause of what is in the soil.

I can only say the box lists no other ingredients but organic Gymnema leaf so I would assume it's 100% gymnema.
