I absolutely adore this doll head, I am in my first year of training to be a hairdresser and this is really great for practicing up do’s and braids/twists, it’s super long and super thick, I’m not going to risk putting heat on it as it is synthetic, it feels alright and stays in place well once you’ve pinned it in place. It doesn’t feel like natural hair which I didn’t ever expect it to so that’s not a problem. Honestly would recommend this to anyone that needs a pretty affordable alternative and long hair to work on!To add onto this review just over a year later, I still like this doll head but I did thin it down a ton, there was just too much hair to handle and I took off a bit of length, yet again it just made it more difficult to work with. I still use it to practice long hair ups. My best tip would be to use a wide tooth comb to detangle it, that seems to work the best.

I ordered this for my daughter because she was doing her old dolls hairs and I said she should get one of these. Great price, and she even asked for a second one a few months later. She named them and all and she loves them. She gave the first one a bob and it was very eash to cut. Just make sure to brush bottom to top aw it gets very puffy. 100000% recommend!!!

As a hairdresser i've had several synthetic training heads over the years so I was quiet surprised when this product arrived and I felt the texture of the hair. It's very, very dry and becomes tangled really easily not to mention the shedding, hair just falls out of it and ends up all over the floor. For the price it's pretty good and the hair is nice and thick it's just a shame about the shedding and the texture. Thankfully a condition with fabric softener saved the day a little bit for me but I would recommend maybe finding another training head as you can get other heads that have very silky, soft synthetic hair.

This is better than expected. I got this so I can practice various hair do’s but my 7yr old daughter has already taken it over and loves using it for her own styling

Very disappointed, the clamp snapped on first use when my daughter was brushing the models hair, would not recommend.
