I have frequent small dermatological procedures which require bandaging for 7 to 10 days. I have been bedeviled by sensitivity to every other tape I've tried with abraded, occasionally bleeding skin on removal. My current dermatologist introduced me to Micropore S and the difference was life-changing. Abrasions from previous tape actually healed under this tape. I will never be without it. It's not cheap, but it's worth every penny.

Best Tape for lashing. Last a really long time also

I bought a box of these for 54 and received one roll in my purchase. Still charged me 54 but I only got 1 roll. I’m just confused as hell. If I was shorted one roll, I’d be more understanding but shorting me 11 rolls? Shipping to where I live isn’t the easiest so I had to ship to family who were traveling here. Very disappointing. I’d say purchase cautiously as it seems others have received unfulfilled packages too.

Earlier this year when I was in the hospital for the 2nd time (non covid related), I had several tubes and lines coming out of the body with dressings. This was the tape the nurses used to hold the dressing down. Depending on the location it held the dressing down for the 48 hours it guaranteed and in other places it held for a week. Removal was easy and pain free as I have sensitive skin. I knew I would have a long stay in the skilled nursing facility and stocked up on this tape via this purchase at Amazon. The blue tape had "3M Micropore S" written on the inside of the roll, and the S is important (without it you have "paper" tape which is not the same). This is a tape that we can all use in the household, so it won't go to waste.

I have had an ocassion to use this product for quite a spell now. (Not of my own choosing). I have found that it works very well.It is durable and will stay in place all day. The adhesion to the skin is tremendous, but will NOT damage the skin on removal. However; due to the adhesion, it sometimes feels like it will do damage, that is how well it sticks.I highly recommend this tape for anyone who has problems with surgical tape damaging skin on removal.

I react to almost all other tape but this didn’t bother me at all. I just ordered a second box!

I ordered these in boxes of 12. One box had only 11 rolls. The only remedy Amazon offered was to return the whole box. Since I needed to have the tape, this wasn't an option - I just wanted either credit for the one roll, or to be sent the missing role. So in the end I gave up, feeling the customer service should have been better as well as feeling somewhat ripped off. The tape is great.

A family member uses this tape twice for attaching/securing a catheter. Before finding this tape, we tried every other kind imaginable - cloth, paper, other non-stick, etc. The damage to the skin by constant friction from application, wear and removal caused such a serious reaction we had to go to a dermatologist and use an antibiotic cream for 2 weeks. Bleeding, scabbing skin. Since finding 3M Kind Removal tape, we have had no issues whatsoever with rashes or even mild skin irritation. Our clinic decided to stock this tape for other patients with such skin sensitivity issues. Be aware that the order number is 2770-1. If you order the one including an "S" in the stock number, you will receive very small almost sample sized rolls - 54" long. The ones I am recommending are 5 yards. Highly suggest buying in bulk, as it reduces the price significantly and this tape is not cheap.
