I got this for my husband to use with his Traeger. It works fabulously. He can do 4 to 5 racks of ribs at a time and have room for other items in the smoker. He loves it. Well made and functional. Easy clean up. We love to find ribs on sale and cook several slabs. We then vacuum seal them and have them to thaw and reheat, as needed. Also great when we are feeding a large crowd.

We just got a new gas smoker and were very eager to try this out! Very simple, but sturdy design. Normally when we cook ribs, they are wrapped in tin foil and later flipped. It wasn’t easier to handle flipping being sideways, however, the major plus came when we realized just how many we can cook at once now! It evenly cooked the meat too, and we were pleased with the outcome. All of our neighbors were too since we could make enough meat to share with a big crowd ;) We also loved the handles on the side, made carrying easy and saved time from going back and forth. It’s very sturdy! Don’t worry, no meat was dropped during our test run. lol. You can see in the picture how well it fits in our standard size smoker (racks not in yet). These have simplified our smoking process a ton. Oh, and we got to throw it in the dishwasher after - my favorite part hands down.

I have used it for grilling ribs & steaks so far. It worked well. It was easy to use, clean & not so big I can't store it easily.

I have a smaller offset smoker and I bought this to prevent ribs from being too close to the fire box. I smoked two racks of beef plate ribs and this work perfectly. I was able to keep the meat away from the heat and got some great smoke on the ribs. I don't know if I'd put 5 racks of ribs on here, though. It looks like the most it could handle is three full racks, otherwise they would lean on each other. Not a deal breaker through, as the most I've ever smoked is two racks of pork or beef ribs. I would certainly recommend this product, especially if you have a smaller offset smoker.

I purchased this because my stainless steel rib racks kept getting rust on them. First time I forgot to coat this rack with Pam spray to stop it from sticking. Amazingly, when I took the ribs out and turned them over, they came right out without sticking to the rack. After I flipped them over and cooked them for a while, I took them off the rack and again and they slid right out without sticking. This rack is extremely easy to clean and the food just wipes right off. The rack is very sturdy for 5 racks of ribs and the wire is thick. I found no defects on it whatsoever. The handles at the end make it easy to pick up the rack from your grill and transport them to the kitchen. A black enamel is a great idea over stainless steel. This rib rack will definitely last a lot longer than my other ones have. Excellent product.

These help save space in the smoker.

This would be OK half racks of spare ribs, great for half racks of baby backs, but when we put full racks of baby backs in they stood up in the middle but fell over and laid on each other on the ends. Spare ribs were much worse...
