Bulk Buy: Red Heart Soft Yarn E728-9779 (2-pack) (Coral)

I’ve had great success with this brand and this yarn which I have used over and over in various color ways for multiple projects. I primarily use it for dog blankets that need to be washed fairly regularly, and this stands up to washer & dryer —no problem. I love that is soft, warm and not at all scratchy. I recently knit a shawl/scarf of expensive wool as a “treat” and wore it once. I couldn’t stand how itchy it was! The texture and softness of this wool is fantastic; and affordable! I hope they never stop making it. Although I could use some more shades of blue, please! 😆

I used this to make a winter cardigan style coat for my god-daughter. It is a beautiful dusty rose colour, heavy enough to knit up quickly and make a good warm outfit that should thrill a pink-loving little girl's heart. It's also soft enough to work for a child and to be worn against bare skin if desired. I found no snags, joins or flaws. 2 balls were enough to make a knee-length coat with long sleeves and a hood for a two year old, though it was a plain stocking stitch pattern. Might need more with cables or more intricate designs.
