Works really well for cleaning and re-conditioning black leather.
I have two Ethan Allen black leather chairs and auto with black leather upholstery that needed cleaning and re-conditioning and this product worked better than any other product that I've used in the past. It made my auto leather seats look like new and corrected the peeling of the leather sealer that was used on the Ethan Allen leather chairs. The Ethan Allen leather began peeling right after the warranty expired and looked especially bad on the arms of the chairs. While this black leather soap did not make them look like new, it filled in the peel gaps and made the leather arms soft,, smooth and shiny once again. This soap is easy to use and works well. I highly recommend it.

Great stuff!
Effective at cleaning/hydrating my black leather bag and refreshing the color without needing a re-dye. The large size of product will last many months for me. I’ve been using the treated bag with no color transfer. Easy to use the product, though a bit messy and can stain your fingers, so wear gloves and keep a rag handy to wipe away excess. Functionality-wise, this product does it all! Follow up with leather conditioner like Leather CPR.

Takes years off of your boots!
Works great, especially in the top stitching that’s hard to clean with just water. I used masking tape on the sole stitching to keep from dying it.

Stunning Results on Black Leather
I was given a 30 year old black leather Coach computer bag that had stains, scratches, and faded edges. It was dry and hadn’t been conditioned. I filled the bag with paper to fix the shape, used this saddle soap to cleanse the entire exterior gently with a soft horsehair brush, used a soft cloth to remove any residue, then when it was semi dry I massaged Leather CPR on it and the bag looks incredible. The bag had a deep dent in the flap and I massaged it smooth while it was wet from the saddle soap. Lays flat now. It even gently colored the faded parts on the edges of the bag where the suede was slightly exposed. Highly recommend for black leather. I’ll be using this now for shoes and jackets.

Saddle Soap is fine. Shipping method is a problem.
Have no problem with the saddle soap.My problem is with Prime shipping a twist-off-lid tin loose in a plastic envelope twice as big as the item. Tin was dented, lid had come loose and gouged the saddle soap. Black soap was smeared on outside of lid and tin and inside the mailer. It was only a small amount, but it was still a mess.

Amazing Product!
I am so happy I purchase this. It was able to remove the skid marks on my black leather tote bag. It was easy to use and conditioned and cleaned my bag perfectly. It wasn't hard to use at all.

Amazing! Gave my purse new life
Wow - this transformed my vintage leather purse. I bought this purse several years ago and have used it daily. It’s gone through wear and tear and had scuffing and fading. This product worked like a charm to revive lost color and camouflage scars. After I using the black saddle soap I went in with Bick 4 leather conditioner. This pair worked beautifully and added many more years to this beautifully made bag. Thank you!

Great for black leather jacket
I used this on a black leather jacket that had lost it's luster and had that "rubbed" look. This saddle soap along with some leather conditioner revived the jacket. It took the greyish color back to black. I am really pleased with the results.
