Really cheap
I bought this for my 4yo after she saw it somewhere and wanted it badly. I thought it would be cool to see if she could wake herself up. Unfortunately this thing is incredibly cheaply made and virtually worthless. First of all, it's only possible to power by battery. To save battery the digital display is not illuminated, except when you press the top of the clock. So basically the only way your kid can use it as any sort of clock is if they're constantly pressing the button to turn on the backlight. There are virtually ZERO settings, no volume setting for example. To me it seems very quiet for an alarm clock, and the fact that you can't adjust it up or down seems crazy. The alarm sound itself is quite annoying, it's an intermittent beep that quickly becomes a fast, constant beep. The weird thing is ours seems to turn itself off after 20 seconds or so. I'm not sure if it's supposed to do that or not but again, that renders it virtually useless. And I'm pretty sure it just didn't go off at all one day. And all it takes is your kid to press the button to turn the alarm off entirely, which is very easy to do accidentally. Basically this thing is a waste of money, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. It could've been done very well but they clearly put as little thought and effort into this product as possible.

Cute, but...
While this clock is very cute, it does not function well as an alarm clock. The alarm is not very loud; in addition, it just shuts off after about 30 seconds of beeping, without sounding again. Luckily, I bought it more for aesthetics and wake my daughter up by myself, otherwise, I would have returned! So, overall, cute clock; but don't buy it if you are looking for a true alarm clock.

Bought for my 6 year old to help learn time and she also uses it to help wake her up for school (we actually wake her up) the alarm is loud enough but not as annoying as traditional alarm clocks which works for us. The color blends in well and it’s durable we dropped it many times. Functions well!! Would buy again!

Perfect for a 6 year old.
My daughter loves her purple Lego clock. She always makes sure her alarm is set before she goes to bed at night. It was easy to use and set up. She received it for her 6th birthday and she can change the settings herself.

Very Cute, But Made Awful Ringing Noise Constantly
It's bigger then I thought it would be and that's great. However, it made this awful buzzing/ringing noise. We changed the batteries, but it still did it. I don't have the packaging receipt any more and I think it's too late to return. My husband threw it away last night, because my daughter was complaining of headaches due to the ringing. I am sure it is just a defect in mine because my son has a Lego clock and his is GREAT! I will be buying another LEGO alarm clock, but this time from the store.

Really cool looking alarm clock
Looks fantastic in my daughter's candy coloured room. Easy for her to use. The only reason I'm not giving it five stars is because the display doesn't light up all the time (just when you press the button).

The LEGO Friends purple brick clock is the new must have accessory of Heart lake City! Built like the famous LEGO brick this is not only a cool addition to any room it's also functional as well! The time is displayed on a digital LCD screen with a backlight, so you can read the clock whenever you want! The snooze and backlight functions are activated by pushing down on one of the LEGO studs.
