Make sure the projector is powered down (if in use, wait at least 10 minutes for the lamp to cool) and for added precaution remove the power cable. 2. Turn the unit over and locate the lamp panel, once located, unscrew and remove the cover. 3. Unscrew the 2-3 screws holding the lamp in place and carefully slide the lamp out of the projector. 4. Remove the new lamp from its packaging. Make sure not to directly touch the lamp only the outer casing. Oils and debris from hands and fingers will cause "hot spotting" which will lead to overheating and ultimately decreased lamp life. 5. Alight the guides on the new lamp holder with the guides inside the unit and gently slide the lamp into place. 6. Insert and tighten the screws on each side of the lamp holder. When replacing the lamp housing make sure the new housing is secure and seated completely before operation. 7. Place the cover back on the unit and re-install the screws. 8. Plug the projector back into the power supply and restart the projector. 9. After the unit powers on, locate the lamp counter in the menu and reset the counter to zero.

Don't Buy This Lamp!
I am so mad! When we put this lamp in the tv really never got bright like it does when we replace the lamp. I purchased the lamp in July 2020 to have when the existing lamp went out. Just changed the lamp 2 weeks ago and the light is blinking red again and no picture. I want my money back!UPDATE:::: The seller refused to refund my money because I was over the 120 days; however; I contacted Amazon Customer Service and they issued me a credit for the lamp. I realize it was over the 120 days, but the lamp worked for 12 days. How can you not stand by your product that you sell?

This was very easy to install great price as well. I got this for my son his was burnt out he could not believe I got housing and all cheaper than what he paid just for light.

I bought two replacement bulb in April and by July both bulbs were inoperable.You get what you pay for.They both didn't last for more than 6 weeks each
