Layout tool
Smart tool for layout off timber frame external and and internal stud wall but as many other uses rafter and hip rafter cuts can be used with circular saw as a guide can be used also for marking centre off wood etc

Its not square or suitable for UK timber
Whilst this should be a good tool it is not square on either side. The aluminium is cheap and nasty , It is also not compatible with UK treated 4 x2 being to narrow one way and to wide the other . Very disappointed as it has such potential . Do not buy this if you work in the UK

Complicated
It’s nice and definitely works in many scenarios but it’s complicated instructions, lack of fitting in a tool belt securely it’s a little time consuming
