Installed this on my RedMax HEZ3060S stick edger, the carb and gasket was an exact fit aside from having to rotate the throttle cable control 180 degrees, which was super simple by pulling the two screws on top and rotating it. Yes this unit has a nice brass flathead air/fuel mixture screw hiding under a black rubber plug center of the throttle lever mechanism. My OEM carb had an odd three pronged plastic air/fuel adjustment screw that got boogered up easily. This thing tuned out better and runs smoother than when I bought this edger off the dealer floor. I cannot attest to the new fuel line fitment into the rubber tank bung seeing how I did not install them since I had recently replaced them. I would 100% buy this carb again, it’s $20 vs $150+for an OEM unit.

Brought new life to my red max trimmer..

I put this carb on my Red Max GZ23N, but the throttle cable connection was on the wrong side. Fortunately it is a symmetrical device, so I was able to remove the throttle and rotate it 180 degrees, then it started right up and is working fine.

Purchased for a Redmax BCZ2600S weed eater other than having to reverse the throttle linkage on the carb (easy!) the machine started first pull, I also had to adjust the throttle and idle screws so the cutter head would stop in idle mode (also easy!) the included fuel lines fit fine and seem to be of good quality. Time will tell on its longevity but for the price if it lasts the season it’s well worth it.

After finding the carb adjustment screw, still couldn’t get it adjusted correctly. Blower bogged down after applying throttle out of the box. No instructions included and you’re on your own to figure it out. Had to switch the top part of the carb direction which was easy enough…but didn’t run like original carb after adjusting. Maybe mine was faulty, but spent too much time monkeying around with something that had no directions.

Affordable well rated carb for my Red Max blower

I bought this carb for a 15 year old Redmax trimmer. It worked perfectly once than it wouldn’t start. I took it to a shop and the needle fell into the seat and flooded out the carb. It would have cost less to just have my original rebuilt. Build quality is suspect.
