Stylishly great
Fantastic tamper that’s of real high quality and is aesthetically stylish. Fits professional portafilter of 58mm. This model is intentionally just millimetres over and sits PERFECT in a Gaggia classic pro basket , without being to tight.

This is a class piece of kit, buy it if you care about your coffee.
Wow. Such a great looking pics of kit and very good at doing what it’s supposed to ! A few Bob more than I’d like to pay but so, so much better than the terrible plastic tamper supplied with the Gaggia Classic. Looks great too.

Snug and weighty.
What a great tamper. At first I thought it was just the same as my previous 58mm tamper, but the extra 0.4mm now clears the side wall of the basket nicely, leaves a cleaner puck and a notable reduction in channeling. I am genuinely surprised. A worthy investment.

Brilliant tamper
Really well made tamp!! This one fitted my gaggia classic portafilter perfect and now the same with my francio cherub. It's nice and heavy and easy to use would recommend it to any one just make sure you get the right size for your portafilter.

It works!
I’ve been making espressos with a 58mm tamper for decades. This 58.4 tamper makes a difference. It’s easier to level, reduces channeling and causes less mess. The size difference is almost imperceptible but it’s worth the switch. I wish I’d done it years ago.The quality of a Motta tamper is also second to none.

Robustly made espresso tamper
Well constructed and heavy. A little on the costly side, but it’s made in Italy. Works very well tamping down the espresso grounds in my 58 mm portafilter basket.

Sehr wertig - liegt gut in der Hand
Ich hätte nicht gedacht, dass 0,4mm so einen Unterschied machen - der Sieb meiner Siebträgermaschine hat nominal 58mm Durchmesser, der mitgelieferte Tamper liess immer einen Kaffeemehlrand stehen - mit diesem Tamper klappt es wunderbar und dank des Eigengewichts mit wenig Kraftaufwand, hervorragende Ergebnisse zu erzielen. Jeden Cent wert!
