What Does the Tooth Fairy Do With Our Teeth? Hardcover – September 2, 2014

I have six grandchildren (3 per family) - three of them are in the process of 'losing' teeth (the other three have a year or two to go). I read this to my overactive grandson who sits still for little. He sat, mesmerized, as I read each page to him. He was enchanted with the photos and the text. As was I. I bought one book for each family, and I have a feeling I'll be reading this book many times. Oh! and he excitedly entered the contest at the end of the book.

This is a cute story where a kid imagines what the tooth fairy might do with our teeth after she takes them. It's cute, and my son likes it, but it wasn't quite what I was expecting. I thought this was a story about what the tooth fairy did, not a bunch of possible scenarios that the character in the book thinks about. I was expecting something a little bit more...magical, I guess.

After having received the book I realized it was not what I had expected. Not sure I would order it again.

This book was the perfect gift for my niece and nephew that seem to have it all! The story is written to not only capture the imagination of the readers, but also to surprise them and keep them interested. I can't wait to share it with my niece and nephew...it will be great to have some quality story time with them...with an awesome book! As a teacher, I can't wait to see what the author has up her sleeve next...looking forward to the next book!

I love this book! The author did a great job on the story, and the illustrator did a great job on the art work. I good one to have in your home library as your children progress through losing their teeth!

This Book is an amazing book to add to my three year olds collection. The words are so sweet and imaginative. One of my favorite parts was the surprise ending!!! Although my daughter has not started to lose her teeth I find it nice to prepare her for things to come. It is truly a must have great for little girls and boys, and Parents too!!!!Maresa Hummel

What a great premise for a book and how dissapointingly handled. If you were hoping for a book which imagined a world for the tooth fairy, you will be sorely disappointed by this book. It doesn't help that the rhyming is sloppy and forced. The pictures are just all wrong for the topic. Were you imaging a lot of scribbled earth tones and browns when you thought of the tooth fairy? The book is quite bad. Like truly, I want to buy this woman a thesaurus and a rhyming dictionary bad. What a missed opportunity.

Loved this imaginative book that invites children to submit their own stories. Children who I work with loved it and wrote stories now saving for my grandchildren.

My 5 year old liked this story. We read it on the day her first tooth fell out as she wanted to know what the tooth fairy did with the teeth she collects and it gave some great ideas. She liked the idea of turning teeth into snow!!

It didn't answer to the question, my daughter was not happy with it.
