Sure, as long as they are not made out of a non magnetic metal. It is crazy strong, the hard part is getting them back off. But it worked great for nails in our yard.

Paramagnetic metals are weakly attracted to magnets, and include platinum, tungsten, aluminum and magnesium.

No it won't come undone, but beware this magnet is lucky to pick up 40 pounds. Sounds like a fake liberal description when stated it will pick up 440 pounds!!!!!!!
