I decided to go with a Paddington Bear theme for my 4th baby. This plush is super soft and seems like it will hold up well against play. For now, it is just sitting as a decoration but I'm sure my son will play with it when he gets older.I would say it's about medium size. It does not have any sounds or buttons, but I prefer our stuffed animals to cuddly and without sound.

I was not sure whether I should order the bear based on some of the negative reviews. I am glad that I did not let them stop me from getting this excellent version of Paddington. To address some of those negatives: This is not for babies or toddlers who are predisposed to put everything in their mouths. This is for a child of at least 4 or 5 years old and one who does not tend to destroy their toys. As for stiff, I would characterize the bear as a soft plush that is packed firm with stuffing. He is designed to stand, but he is cuddly. Although packaged in a plastic bag inside the shipping box, my Paddington arrived in pristine condition. His hat and coat are made of a thick felt material that will crease if folded. The coat is very nicely made with great detail and it fits the bear very well. As an added bonus, there is a thick cardboard tag in the shape of a suitcase and looking just like his suitcase, stickers and all, attached to his hand. His hat is attached in a couple of places, but the stitches can be easily cut and the hat removed, revealing his famous black ears. I have not tried it, but it looks like the coat and boots can also be removed. This is a very cute Paddington, one of the best mass produced Paddingtons I have seen, with exceptions made for the Steiff Paddingtons and various OOAK artist bears.

Even the little boots come off. This is quite nice quality for the price.

This is very cute! Our son loves bears and this was a must have. It came in perfect condition and works exactly as it should.

I’ve gotten toys from this brand before and their quality is GREAT

I wanted to get my daughter a Paddington stuffed animal for her birthday because she loves the stories so much. I purchased two from Amazon (including this listing) and decided whichever one was the better choice of the two, we would keep, and the other, we would just take back.This Paddington was by far the best! He was only 6 bucks more than the other listing yet, he is significantly bigger in size, his face has more personality, he sits up on his own (I had to prop the other one up in the photo) and he has the extra feature of a sown on marmalade sandwich. Also, he is super cuddly. The other inferior Paddington arrived in cheap plastic and was stuffed into an envelope (not a box). I didn't remove the other Paddington from his plastic encasing because the item wasn't Prime so I wasn't sure if they would return it without the plastic wrap.My daughter loved her Paddington present. Of course, she did notice that Paddington was missing his Wellington boots, but she's preschool age so they would probably only stay on the stuffed animal for a few minutes if this was an included item, so that wasn't a big deal for me.All to say, I never write reviews but I felt like I had to in this case because this is the best Paddington I've seen and one of my daughter's favorite presents.I will mention that the listing showed the coat, marmalade sandwich, and felt hat as detachable, but they're not. They're sown onto the bear. I mention this because I personally really didn't want the items to be detachable since he would just end up as a naked bear with a preschooler as his caretaker, thus, not even resembling Paddington. So I'm super happy to report that his personal items are sown on to his body.
