I think it’s a great value compared to the cost of other protein powders. I do believe they do use quality ingredients because I get no bloat at all after drinking the shake. Taste is where it is a bit lacking. It’s not bad or horrible, but if you aren’t fond of the “protein” taste I can see how it got some of the bad reviews. I think it taste good but I also only drink it as a smoothie with a banana and vanilla almond milk. It’s not gritty at all. I think if you only mix this with water it’s not going to taste the best. I am definitely buying again because of the quality of it but don’t expect it to be the most amazing thing you ever tasted

I've tried several different vanilla protein powders and like this one the best so far. I like the flavor, but what I really like is that it doesn't clump up. I add it to my yogurt in the morning and it's easy to mix in. All the other brands I've tried tends to clump up into chewy little globs. This is fine and mixes in well. I've already recommended to several others! The only downside is that is seems to be out of stock frequently.

Arrived earlier than expected (thx Amazon). I discovered this Mexican brand in Mexico, when I stayed there, and I fell in love with them. Good ingredients, high quantity of protein per portion, amazing taste and more than anything good value for your money. There are some cheaper ones, but the quality of Birdman is pretty high, so I'd definitely recommend them.

My husband and I are working on doing an exercise and vegan meal plan shred program. We got this because it has the greatest protein, least fats & carbs, and best price point of any of the plant based protein powders of the ones I’ve looked at on Amazon. We’ve been used to putting Orgain in our smoothies every morning but the macros are off for our program. We got the vanilla flavor and it has been fine. Blends well with ice & water (even better with half a banana added) & doesn’t taste too chalky or too much like stevia like some other protein powders can. We’ve also put it in overnight oats with a couple other ingredients & it has been pretty tasty. We’ve ordered the chocolate now to try it out as well.

I love this protein. I have been searching for a great tasting protein at a affordable price. I was diagnosed with food allergies and candida a few years ago. I have a pretty strict diet. I came across this protein on Amazon. I decided to give it a try, mainly because of the price and I loved the bird design. After using it for the first time, I immediately noticed the smooth texture with no bad after taste. I love that I can just drink it by itself mixed with almond milk and nothing else. Other brands of pea protein I have had to hide the bad taste with sweeteners and fruit/veggies just to drink it. I now subscribe with Amazon to make sure I have a monthly shipment. I highly recommend this product.

I decided to try a new, more affordable protein, as the type I usually get has raised its price over time. I chose this one based on the price, reviews, and nutritional info. I should have stuck to what I knew I liked. The protein looks good nutritionally, but I just can't get over the pea protein taste and smell. If you've ever sniffed straight pea protein, you know what I'm talking about. I'm not going to be able to drink this protein with just water, like I do with other protein powders. And even after trying to disguise the pea protein flavor with bananas and pb, there is a distinct pea protein aftertaste. Since pea protein is the first ingredient, I guess I should have expected this, but several people commented on the good taste. So, if you have an aversion to the taste/smell of pea protein, don't choose this one!

Tastes like most protein drinks. Ingredients seems to be good. I got vanilla because I think it mixes better with different ingredients like bananas,blueberries, strawberries and assorted fruits . No gut problems with this product so far. Price is good for the amount of servings.

This is hands down the worst tasting protein drink mix I’ve ever tried and I’ve tried a lot. Do not even consider this product if you don’t have a powerful blender to use with it every single time. This stuff is so chalky that water refuses to blend with it. If you insist on trying it for yourself, make sure you have someone with you the first time you try it, just in case you choke and aspirate on it. I don’t have anything good to say about this product because it is undrinkable, and of course unreturnable. Even buying it on sale was a mistake because that was $35 in the trash. So so so gross.
