You Can Draw Spiral-bound – February 1, 2006

I got this and Draw Really Cool Stuff at the same time for an 8 yr old neighbor boy. This book seemed to go well with the other. The Really Cool Stuff one is more life-like drawing and You Can Draw is more character-like (ie Cartoon or coloring book style). Both were step by step style teaching books and I found them very simple to follow yet exceptional in detail and style. The boy loves to draw and these should help him along in perfecting his talents and love for drawing.

This is a GREAT book for children (or adults) who want to get better at drawing all sorts of subjects. I have purchased a total of 4 of these books for my grandsons. They all are happy with the book and it's methods and are getting much better at drawing. Thank you for selling this book.

My son likes this book. Graph paper is used in the examples, and though we don't have any, he still uses the examples. I had to explain to him how to use the basic shapes first, then erase those lines he doesn't need later.( He is 6 )

I BOUGHT THIS FOR MY 10 YEAR OLD SON,HE HAS ONE OF THE OTHER YOU CAN DRAW BOOKS,AND HE REALLY ENJOYED THAT. SAME WITH THIS ONE. THE PRICE COULD NOT BE BEAT ALSO. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS DRAWING BOOK.

my middle school art students really like using this book as a drawing reference. my youngest which is 6 finds it easy to follow as well, it takes you literally step by step.

This is one of the most impressive drawing books I've ever purchased! My grandchildren have spent HOURS working this this book and enjoying it! There are so many drawings included in this one book! It is fantastic! I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a very wonderful drawing guide for children!

Great book for first graders to learn how to draw. They are thrilled with it.
