The media could not be loaded.  Ok so I saw the big profesional version of this recently and had to try one but smaller & cheaper. This arrived and within 5 mins of unpacking took it for a spin... Wow it is amazing! Come with instructions mainly in chinese and a couple of beater sticks etc... Didn't read instructions but will. Really good quality and makes so many various tones and sounds. I have it on a cajon with a tambourine inside, which is the extra sound in the video. I play a few instruments as an amatuer and to be doing this within 5 mins of unpacking in insane... Love it so much and can play for hours. Hands hurt a bit though.

The media could not be loaded.  Not bad sounding at all and my video doesn't do it justice. I found it far too quiet to play by hand so use the mallets only.My only complaint is that the colour doesn't look anything like the picture

The 11 diatonic notes are great but you can also play it using only the pentatonic notes for a really ethereal sound. Mix both scales and it sounds wonderful. I wanted a 12 inch model and wondered if this would be loud enough and have a long tone. The 10 inch is more than up to the task. For the money I can't fault it and the case is great. Try playing the first few bars of Morning Mood from Grieg's Peer Gynt Suite, magic!

This is my first instrument of this type, so I really don't have much to compare it to, but I am overall happy with my purchase. There are a number of great things about this drum. It seems very well-made, comes with a nice case, has a decent tone, and is quite loud especially if played with the included mallets.It's not perfect, though. The tuning is a bit off on most of the keys (?), and there's a noticeable (and annoying) metallic sound at times. Plus, the rubber things to put on your fingers for playing are waaaay too small and cut off the circulation on my fingers. As far as I know, I don't have abnormally large fingers, either. Also, there's no place to put the included mallets; I ended up tucking them into the handle, but considering how nice the case is, I would have expected a pocket also for the mallets.Anyhow, I'm happy with this drum and would recommend it, but don't expect a miracle!

I wanted to buy a steel tongue drum after hearing the sound it made, but they were very expensive. This smaller size is perfect as it is so much cheaper and still makes the amazing sound. Even if you’ve not used one before, you will still be able to create beautiful music, trust me! Comes with a carry case as well. Great value.

You get what you pay for - I bought this one as I was unsure whether I wanted one.Having read the reviews, I was hopeful for this. And it's alright.The sound on some notes is perfect and on others is a little tinny and impure. Having followed the instructions I've tried to alter the notes that aren't quite right and haven't had any success at present!Alright for the price but if you want a purer sound you might want to fork out the extra £50.

Delivered as promised. Excellent quality. I’m very much enjoying learning how to play it. Easy to get started with even the most basic musical knowledge. Lovely haunting sounds.
