I ordered this as a replacement and it works great with my older bright eyes light.

I've been using the Bright Eyes system now for many years. I find that a battery lasts about a year and needs replacing. It isn't too expensive so I'm very happy. However, the latest battery that I received, in April, 2022, is not holding charge well. It runs for about a little under an hour on high. I can usually get about four hours. I'll need to contact customer service, any ideas on how to do that? Thanks, Dennis.

Great battery. I love that the battery is incased with a grippy rubber. The grip plus the strap and this battery isn't moving at all on my MTB. Had no dimming of light power on my hour long night rides. I can't speak for total run time.

Best Battery Pack I Have gotten from China. No experience with rate of drain yet.

Be sure to unplug the light every time. Or your battery will drain.

used this in rural Lake Anna Virginia State Park at an ultra triathlon where it is so dark, "you can't see the end of your nose" kind of dark. In the middle setting, it was FANTASTIC and battery life outstripped my expectations. The amount of light was almost too much, I needed to ensure that the light was appropriately aimed but I had as much light as could be had to see (both) sides of the road as the biggest hazard was deer coming from either side.This is a 2nd generation purchase. I picked up my original many years ago (2013?) and this one went to my daughter as I'm still happy with my older light, even though it's less bright and eats the battery a little more quickly. Support for existing products is unbelievable -- after getting support for such an old product made the decision to pick up this light for my daughter a "no-brainer".Best improvement, for me, was the newer lights have slightly shorter cable lengths and have re-arranged the layout -- I'm sure based on customer feedback. More companies should work like Bright Eyes!

Im sure some cheaper packs are just as good, but its a gamble, Ive bought 3 of these over the years, and every single one has been great! Only thing I'd change is i wish the lead was 2-3 inches longer so i can mount it on the rear of my seat post tube, like right infront the rear wheelEdit: Should have never wrote this review! I cursed myself, The most recent battery I ordered just bit the dust after less than 1 month. the connector is losing connection, Light works for a min but then you go over a bump and it gives up. Pretty disappointing, Id expect that from cheaper packs but In the past these packs have lasted me years, but Maybe quality control has gone downhill. Im going to try something else next time.Edit:2 Seller has reached out and sent replacement. Overall still happy with purchase, they are powerful batteries, but just expect maybe some minor inconvenience replacing defect ones. But that being said, they are much more reliable than the other cheaper brands, and good customer service! Thanks Rikki!
