While this Korean BBQ doesn’t taste exactly like what you’d get at a restaurant, it’s definitely pretty close. I’ve heard from some friends that adding a bit of sugar during the marinating process makes it even better. I’ll definitely try that next time I order more!

This stuff is good and big jar

I've made this a couple of times now. The first time, I put too much meat in my pan, and ended up steaming the meat, to some extent. I had read some recipes that warned not to do this. I just overestimated how much was too much. The meat ended up a bit bland, even though it was marinated overnight.The second time I made this, I made certain to separate the meat and only cook a bit at a time. I let it char a bit to caramelize the marinade on the meat. This made all the difference. I ended up with a much better flavored product.If you choose to cook with vegetables, I would recommend stir frying those separately, since the amount of moisture that comes off of fresh vegetables might cause the meat to steam rather than caramelize.

She is half Korean. My sister has been paying much more than the Amazon price for this sauce and for a smaller size bottle.
