I needed a jar to make preserved lemons and this was perfect! I love the look of them and the seals are very tight fitting and win’t corrode from the salt. My husband also uses them to make prepared noodle lunches and they are good at keeping all the ingredients fresh before he uses them.

I like it so much.I am using for fermenting. Only concern is steel wire changing color in some places.

I purchased these for my apartment to put in all the spices I needed. My parents had similar ones that they purchased over 30 years ago, which I had no hope of finding now. These work and are very cute.They are the exact size that I was wanting. They are airtight and come with an extra rubber piece that I'm assuming is a replacement for the lid portion should it be required.The pack was of 6. I have so far only used 4, but they are great.

First of all I Love these jars! My kitchen has a retro theme and they go very well with it! The ingredients (Flour and Wheat Flour Sugar and Brown Sugar Coffee Regular & Decaf) not only stay fresh, but being able to actually see what’s in the jar is fantastic! When you have 2 different Flours and Sugars it’s nice not to have to go searching for what kind is in your canisters!! I would suggest you buy a Brown Sugar Softener They carry several brown sugar discs here on Amazon (as well on national chains that sell cooking products and containers) It’s a must to keep your Brown Sugar soft.. I love how they look on my counter or in the pantry and how easy it is to grab the correct one on the first try. I do think that they should market these in sets of 4 though.. for those that have Flour Sugar Coffee and Tea.. I think the they’re a little pricey for a set of 3 but as I stated they do keep everything very fresh and also any moisture that may get into them out! I used to have the solid metal canisters but changing to see through and ones that you can label yourself has been a game changer! I would definitely recommend these to anyone wanting to vamp up their storage in the kitchen and anywhere else storage is needed (such as bathrooms for Bath Salts Cotton Balls Q-Tips etc) Very pleasing you the eye..

Food stays fresh longer

I'm very satisfied. It's true that the labels are all different styles and thus will not match each other, but I don't mind that. The chalk pen is cool. I hope it lasts a while and wonder if they offer refills or replacements. These jars are much better storage than a large repurposed peanut butter jar because they seal much better and will keep out pests, and they hold a little more, too. It's a bonus that they come with extra gaskets.In another review I saw that the buyer put the rings in the dishwasher and ruined them. It's too bad they didn't know what aluminum looks like and that you shouldn't put aluminum in the dishwasher. Please don't put the rings in the dishwasher, but hand wash them, and you will be happier. It's fine to wash the actual glass in the machine.

Edited: One of the bottles was broken and the broken glass damaged the included sheet of labels. The online return feature wasn’t working properly, so I finally contacted a live person at Amazon customer service, and they offered to replace the product. So other than the breakage, the product looks really nice. Just a note, don’t wash these in the dishwasher, it will cause the metal to corrode. Hot soapy water in the sink is the way to go. Most of the bails on this type of product will corrode in the dishwasher. It’s not dangerous, just ugly.
