There are so many great things about this product that I originally gave it a five star review. However, the first one I ordered stops working after a couple of months. I liked it so much otherwise that I ordered another one, hoping that the first one was a dud. The second one worked fine for just over 6 weeks, and then died. I’m not going to give this company another chance.

I was looking for a humidifier that I could use during the winter months because the dry cold air and the dry heated air irritate my sinuses and leave me with HORRIBLE headaches all day. Bought this humidifier because I thought it was perfect for me, I could take it with me upstairs, downstairs, in the car, to work... basically anywhere. It worked like a dream for a day and a half... then it started making weird puffing noises while not emitting any humidification. "Okay, water must be stuck in the hole", I thought. I cleaned the hole very carefully with a cotton swab but no luck. The problem got worse every day. The puffs with no humidification became more frequent and louder, up until last night where the humidifier turned on for 20 seconds before it shut itself off. I turned it on again... another 20 seconds. Every night I checked the filter, changed the water bottle, and made sure that the filter was soaking for 10 minutes before each use, but I guess it must be faulty technology. 20 bucks basically down the drain, but I didn't expect much for an affordable humidifier. All that works now is the light but I guess it makes for a good night light :/

I've tried this out and it seems to work as advertised with one small exception. It is not possible to turn off the night light. I don't enjoy having a light on next to me at night time. The Q&A mentions long pressing for 3 seconds and the light will turn off, but I've tried this many times. It doesn't shut off. It turns from blue to a multicolor, but not off.As far as mist. It works very well. Great for the size.

Maybe the item I received was defective, but the stream of water this emits is not enough to classify this as a humidifier. After soaking the wick according to the instructions, I left this running in a glass of water. A stream of steam is visible coming out of the top of the unit, but after 4 hours of use the water level was unchanged in the glass. I ended up returning this and will be looking for a more effective humidifier to use when traveling.

The battery life isn't as long as they say. I wish I would've gotten the version where I put batteries in because I have to charge the rechargeable version every two hours. It runs for about a good 1.5 hours strong.

I live on the east coast and recently traveled to Las Vegas - I frequently get dry skin so I purchased this to travel with me and keep up the humidity in my hotel room at night. I filled up the coffee pot, put it in, and turned it on. It worked great!At home I use this daily close to a plant of mine that loves a more tropical environment than is comfortable for humans. My plant seems to love it too. It's been a few months of near daily use and it's still going like a champ.

I have a mixed feeling about this product. I really, really liked it but yesterday, it died... just dead. Why? I've been using purified water since January and using it continually every day. I like the light effect... hold the button for some time and the color sequence changes...cool.BUT it died...

I had a hard time getting it to work. finally I took a dropper and put one drop into the top until it started to steam out. cold steam, very small and unless you are breathing it in no effect at all. My humidity meter is right near it but is still on a 10 for humidity. The sierra desert has more humidity than that.
