Auto Fish Feeder, Vacation Fish Food Dispenser for Aquariums with Moisture-Proof System, Accurate Feeding Suitable for Granulated Flakes and Other Fish Foods

We recently got some fish pets for the boys as pandemic pets. The deal was for them to feed the fish every day if we let them pick the fish. As expected the novelty of feeding the fish on a daily basis quickly wore off and my wife and I found that we were the only ones feeding the fish.We wanted to find a cheap affordable automatic feeder and came across this one. We’ve used it for the past two weeks and so far it hasn’t missed a beat. You can setup the time and the schedule for when to feed the fish. This is all automatic. The part that is manual is how much to feed them every day. There’s a valve that you can adjust for how much flakes or pellets to drop. You can also press the manual button to run a cycle out of the schedule if you want.One thing I noticed is that the clock does seem to run a bit off after a couple of days, but it doesn’t really make much difference in the grand scheme of things with us since we just want to make sure the fish are fed.We don’t expect to use this all the time since I’m still holding the kids to their word, but this will continue to come in handy whenever we need to make trips out of town.

I agree with the good reviews on this feeder. It is well made, simple and very easy to program. It is also completely silent, or as they say "super mute"! The instructions are so-so given the translation but the product is very straight forward. It has two mounting options which is nice because I have to use the Velcro option. I only wish the Velcro was black instead of white because it stands out and looks ugly on my aquarium top. I only use the feeder when I'm traveling so I remove it and then the Velcro dot is an eyesore. Long term battery life and reliability is TBD. It uses 2xAA batteries but they forgot to mention it in the manual.

Maybe I have not figured it all out yet, but it seems when the descriptions mention multiple feeding times it seems that means up to three food drops at a scheduled time or four different feeding times within a 24 hour period. I desired something that would feed every other day and the food amount would be a little more uniform, that being said it seems easy to use and program , great price, good quality. A little home engineering may be needed. I would buy it again

This worked great! I used it outdoors with a small pond that I wanted to maintain while I went on vacation for three weeks. A pack of raccoons took keen interest so I actually ended up repurchasing - after working great for a week the first one got knocked into the water and did not survive. Thankfully I had time to purchase a second unit which made it through the three weeks with no issue. I imagine this would be fantastic for indoor use, away from those pesky but cute raccoons!I chose the green to blend into my patio garden, which it did! Great construction and easy to set up if you read the instructions.

For the price it does a decent job but doesn't work great for flake food. Hard to get the proportion right and food comes out the back side of cover whenever it dispenses. Fish are being fed which is great but it also makes a mess.

Bought this feeder so I wouldn’t have to bother a friend to feed my fish when I went on vacation. The first problem is that the rotation of the feeder is way too slow. Even with the smallest possible opening, if you have small pellets, they will pour through the gap, flooding your tank with food. Since you can set the device to rotate multiple times, it would have been better for the rotations to be faster so less food is dispensed each rotation. The second problem is the vice-style attaching mechanism. If your tank has a lip around the top edge for the cover, the vice cannot reach down far enough to mount onto the glass. This resulted in my feeder falling into my tank, since I had to try to secure it to the lip around the tank, and it couldn’t make a firm contact. The only positives I have are that it seems to be built well, and the operation of the device is smooth and quiet.

I purchased this when I was going on vacation thinking ti would solve my feeding problem for my little fish. Well it just doesn't work for me. I have a 29 gal tank with a lid and there is no where i could put this thing, unless i take off the lid. Being away for two weeks that wasn't an option as the water evaporates and I have to keep the lid on.I haven't returned it because I'll just give it away to one of my friends with a tank and hopefully they can use it. Great idea but again, it didn't work for me.

I could not rely on my prior, less expensive feeder to dispense the correct - or even the same - amount of food 2 times in a row, and it would skip a feeding randomly. This one is very consistent & reliable. Filling it without having to remove anything is nice but it takes a funnel and extra care because of the small opening vs. my fish food can top size. It turns backwards (clockwise from the stand side) so it can't face the back of a tank or the food will go onto the floor. The container is large so it holds several weeks of food but it also requires a pretty big opening.

Funciona muy bien!, Se pueden programar que alimente a los peces 1 vez al día o hasta 4 veces al día y puedes graduar la cantidad, era lo q esperaba.

Electronics malfunctioned after about a week and would randomly keep spinning and empty the entire food container at once.
