I ordered my usual size: 10 .These ankle boots are casual/dress .Being a Military professional, I certainly appreciate the wax/shiny appearance. Durability appears not to be compromised. These boots appear normal, until you put them on,you immediately get a boost/lift to your height There's no problem walking, sitting or standing. Overall, the boots succeeded my expectations. They look good & feel comfortable.I noticed some people are saying;Order smaller or larger. Permit me to dispell that "falsehood " order your "normal" size! These casual/dress boots fit perfectly....& the Sgt Major.....said that !

Had to return them. Not because of the fit, but because of the hard soles. It’s true that they run a bit large but if you go a size smaller they fit fine.The problem is that the rubber soles are so stiff they are almost like a hard plastic. Couple this with the fact that walking in elevator shoes forces you to adjust your stride so you step heel first, and it results in a loud sound with every step you take. Even on the industrial carpet in my offices it sounds like I’m walking in high heels on a tile floor and I felt like I could be heard approaching by every one down the hall. So it defeated the purpose of that confidence boost I was looking for when I bought them.Ultimately I found another pair on here sold by Calto that look great and don’t have these issue with the hard soles. I loved them so much I just bought a second pair in brown.On the bright side, I was able to return them easily and got a full refund so if you want to take the risk in hopes that you won’t have the same issue you can probably rely on an easy return process if you do it before you add any wear and tear to them.

Very nice boot, but choose to keep the wing tip shoes.

I found them to be a little small for my feet. I ordered a half size smaller than I normally wear because of other reviews saying they run large but that was not my experience. I have ordered a stretcher and hopefully they will fit better because they clamped my toes together. Other than that they are beautiful shoes.

You must get one size bigger than your normal size in order to fit. The design is not perfect as the top part of the shoes will scratch your ankle, so you will need thicker socks. Generally it is satisfactory, but I would have picked a different pair if I could go back in time.

I wasn't sure about this shoes and had to try it after reading the mixed reviews.Walking on it takes some practice. So if you are planning to get one of these, I suggest to practice with these on at your home/place for several hours before taking it public. Trust me, this is a man's high heels but you don't want to walk like .... you know what I mean.. lol.These bad boys gives your calves a significant workout if your calves are not well developed or not used to working out, these shoes will give you that, so be prepared. :)You'll feel taller, more confident. This also corrects your posture as the heel forces you whole structure: bum out, stomach in, chest out, head on top of the shoulder! - I use this as one of my coaching tool.Try it! You'll love it!

The added heel height is more dramatic than I thought. And it's ONLY in the heal, so it acts more like a woman's high heel (with your toe pointing and pushing toward the toe box). I am a woman, so I'm used to the feeling, but I can't imagine a man would be comfortable in this shoe. It would best add a lift throughout the whole shoe.
