So big and beautiful π
I'm not exactly sure what I was expecting but it wasn't this. I was so impressed when I opened the package and saw how big this plant was. As you can see from the pictures, it is so full, healthy and beautiful and such a great quality plant. I've had it for a few weeks and some of the leaves have died off but we have new ones coming in already. I am so incredibly happy with it and I definitely recommend purchasing from here if you are looking for a monstera deliciosa.

BEST PLANT PURCHASE EVER!!
Let me start by saying this was the first plant I have ever ordered online. I have looked everywhere locally for the Monstera deliciosa, the plant that was #1 on my "wishlist" of houseplants. I was cautioned by many to NOT ORDER a live plant in the middle of winter (I live in NW Wisconsin, temps average in the low teens down to 0) but I just couldn't wait 'til spring to have one of these beauties, and finally adding a Monstera deliciosa was a HUGE DEAL to me so I put in many hours of research online, and finally decided to order an 18-20" in a 6" growers pot Monstera from American Plant Exchange. I was SO NERVOUS, thinking "It's been below freezing temps a couple of days and UPS probably doesn't care about keeping my plant from freezing, its probably being tossed about or handled roughly with all the other packages". The day of delivery, the driver was walking towards my house holding the box UPSIDE DOWN, when I could see from my window the arrows on the box stating clearly "Please keep this way up", so I was expecting to open a box of broken stems amidst a pile of dirt everywhere. I was scared to even open it! But let me tell you, I burst into tears when I did because it was BEAUTIFUL and packaged so well it was completely intact except for a tiny bit of soil in the bottom! I thought "This is too good to be true!" I took the plant out and the pot of soil it was in was very, very cold (not the growers fault) so I placed him (the plant) on my counter, under the indirect light of a skylight in my kitchen and waited for the inevitable collapse from being frozen. WHICH NEVER HAPPENED! So the next day I gave him water, then watched and waited. I've had him a week now, in the same spot, acclimating and he's already put out 2 new leaves and a 3rd opened up that was beginning to unfurl! I couldn't ask for a more GORGEOUS plant. I'm already trying to decide my next purchase from them. THANK YOU so much, American Plant Exchange, for fulfilling my dream of owning a Monstera deliciosa!! I am so 3excited to watch him grow!!! **Oh! Btw, its advertised as being 18" - 20", and mine measured 43" upon arrival!

Dead Plant
When the plant was delivered today it looked as if it had been frozen all the leaf are dead and the plant looks so bad. My girlfriend was so upset she was really looking foward to her new plant now she received a dead plant.

Beautiful!
I'm very, very pleased with the condition of my plant! I was a little worried because of reviews I read. I can happily report the seller took great care wrapping and packaging my plant for shipping. I didn't take a photo of the plant before unwrapping (I was excited and wanted to set it free ASAP! π) but, you can see all of the material they used to protect it in the photo I included. I posted several photos of my new gorgeous fella from every side so interested customers can see all of his beautifulness and new growth! Now, with all positive things about this plant said and done, I am a little unhappy about the plants size π. The seller advertised the plant to be approximately 18" to 20" in height. As you can see (from the last picture) my plant is rather small with the tallest leaf standing barely 14" tall π . However, I am satisfied with the plant even though it smaller because it appears super healthy and full of new growth! I was honestly very skeptical I would receive a Monstera plant close to two feet tall for $26 ... All and all I would definitely buy from American Plant Exchange again. I hope this review helps π π... Update 7/14/23 This plant is growing like a weed! I now have 3 other plants which were taken from this (the original) plant.

Decent Good Sized Plant
I've ordered three Monstera Deliciosa from American Plant Exchange in the past couple of months. All plants were healthy and a decent size. All were shipped fast by UPS 2-day air. The plant is well packaged in a long cardboard box that allows the plant to be shipped standing up. The only issues I have had with my new Monstera Deliciosa plants is one that rotted at the base killing half the plant. This was likely my fault due to overwatering after I potted the new plant. Success in receiving a plant in decent shape also depends on how the plant is handled in shipment by UPS. One delivery driver failed to see the "This end up" printed on the box and so some of the soil in my new plant was dumped out of its pot due to the delivery driver laying the box on its side. Also be aware that this is a tropical plant from a nursery in Florida. I would be careful to order the plant at the time of year so that the plant's entire journey to your home is covered by above freezing temperatures. Because a delay in an unheated UPS truck or storage facility would easily damage or kill this tropical plant.

Impressed
This monstera deliciosa is stunning! I just received it today, but it is extremely healthy. It was packed well and easy to open. I posted some photos right out of the box and 2 a few hours after breathing and after using some leaf shine to clean off the hard water marks. There are a few floppy leaves but I am hopeful they will come back with sun and fertilizer. If not, Iβll snip them β it is still an overall large and healthy plant. Much fuller then what is shown in the listing photo. It already has 2 new leaves unfurling. Most of the leaves are not split but as you can see the young floppy ones are coming in split and the new leaves coming in look to have the split pattern as well. Canβt wait to repot this baby on a moss pole in a couple of weeks!
