Excellent replacement charger for Makita batteries
Somehow I inherited a Makita drill and one battery, but no charger. I bought this charger and popped on the battery and it showed that the battery was no good. Bought two replacement batteries and it charged my batteries very quickly.It has an easy to read panel that clearly indicates the status of the battery including if the battery is no longer usable as mentioned above.It has a built in cooling fan that keeps battery and machine from overheating if necessary.It will read when the battery is charged, and switch to a trickle charge to keep from overcharging and ruining the battery.The fun little attribute of this thing is that it will "sing" to you when charging is complete. I had this set up in my den and while I was in the living room watching TV, I heard a chiming of some sort....went to investigate and it was this charger!

US PLUG!!
The product looks o.k (waiting for the whole kit to test it), BUT i got a US electricity plug instead of a euro electricity plug!The pictures show a euro plug and description says 220v..

Would not recommend
Got this charger and its absolute junk. I plugged my battery to it and it showed that my battery was bad, found my original charger plugged the battery to it and it works just fine.
