Unidepot Non Slip TPE Double Color Yoga Mat 72'' X 24'' X 1/4

This looks like it may be a good exercise mat, so if you are doing crunches and other mat work this is the mat for you. But it is a terrible yoga mat. It is dense, so it offers good cushioning, but it is very slippery and it does not keep its form, it starts stretching like a rubber band when you are holding posses in which you put pressure in two different directions, like down dog or any of the warriors.And, as others have mentioned, the smell is strong, I have never encountered a mat with such a strong and unpleasant smell as this one. After 2 days of airing it went away though.

Smells horrible! I'll update this review if the smell goes away, but for now, I had to put it out on the deck. I tried hanging it up in a room we don't use with the door shut and it still smelled in the rest of the house.UPDATE: I left this outside in the Florida sun and rain for about a week and the smell went away. For what it's worth, I'm not using this for yoga. I cut it up to make mats for my dog.

I tried this yoga mat out after reading reviews. My hands slipped and the mat stretched, which I don't want while I'm doing downward dog. I gave it two stars because I liked the colors and it was thick. Wish it would've been not slippery and not stretchy.

Working out fine. I like to extra length and cushioning.
