What If You Had Animal Hair?

This is a fun book that has animal facts along with people facts. It also leads to some good discussion about what hair you’d pick. The paperback is kind of cheaply made, but the content is excellent.

I bought this book (along with the other books in the series) to go along with our 4th grade unit on animal adaptations. My students LOVE them! I can hardly keep them on the book shelf of my classroom library! The illustrations are charming and even inspired several of my students to create their OWN illustrations of themselves with animal body parts. The author did a great job of teaching an important science concept in a funny, engaging way. I love these books so much that I just pre-ordered the next book in the series, which is coming out right as school is starting. These books would make a great addition to ANY collection, whether it's at home or at school or whether it's for learning or just for fun. You'll enjoy them for sure!

Great book!

My 5 year old loves these books! They are very cute and informative on how the animals benefit from their different parts.

Very entertaining and easy to read. Fun facts and great pictures. My boys 4 & 7 love them. The silliness helps them to retain facts about interesting animals. They refer back to the books when they see the animal at a zoo or on tv.

The "What if You Had" series are some of the most fun books a child could read!!! Great mix of facts and fun, focused on the younger reader! Adults can learn a few things from the books as well, and will have a great time reading with their younger readers. Illustrations are great and full of imagination!

The book is interesting and well into detail but it should have a q&a session at the end if it. Let the story be told back in the questions asked, but good.

My daughter has asked for every book in this series. They are fun and informative, and she loves telling me about the animal facts she has learned. Highly recommended!

My son (6) finds these books really funny

This is an interesting book. Appealing for kids with the nice diagrams. The MRP is Rs 150 and not Rs 350 as listed, so do not fall for the 60% discount gimmick. Rs 150 itself seems a bit expensive for the content.

If you like reading to your kids, this book is great. You can be animated when you read it and it will keep their interest and you’ll learn a thing or two yourself. Plus there’s a handful of similar books in the series. Perfect to buy for each time we see the grandkids and need a new book to read. cheers
