Best Hiking Shoe Around?
Only had the Adidas Terrex Swift R GTX for a few days. Here is my preliminary take; Fits like a glove (albeit a synthetic one!) as long as you can fit European (i.e. narrow) sizes. Very sturdy on tough sidewalks and wet byways. Stiff sole, minimal cushioning (Probably wouldn't want run in these for longer distances!) and very light for such a tough shoe. Quick lace system is excellent. Goretex seems to work just fine. Overall, very impressive and comfortable right out of the box!

little small than standard size. good quality.
Shoes are good quality however add half a size extra , since they are little small to fit.

Pretty awesome shoes
The fit is great. Very nice well made shoes although the sole is a little stiff. But they're brand new and considered a trail running/hiker shoe. The lace system is awesome snugs right up for a perfect fit. Easy on easy off. If you're interested in them pull the trigger you won't regret it.

I love these shoes for Disc Golf
I love these shoes for Disc Golf! I have been wanting some Gore Tex lined shoes and had trouble finding anything in Keen's or Merrell's. From what I have heard Keen's especially are going downhill in quality. I noticed now all their shoes have a generic water resistant lining (not Gore-Tex) and poor reviews now as a result. Not these, these are definitely water proof. I love these shoes, they have good support. There are fairly comfy. I normally sweat pretty bad in shoes and these are no worse than any others. The sole of the shoe is VERY sturdy. You could stand on a metal shot glass and it would feel as though you were on flat ground. Having said this as some other reviewers have noted there is a possible roll hazard with these. I would make sure you have decent ankle strength. Overall, I could not ask for a much better shoe. I have used them for golf now about 25 times and have no complaints.

Great shoes
I got these as a replacement for my nike shocks, so far so good. I was surprised that they were a tad narrow compared to most shoes I have tried on in the past since I have a C width foot anyway. They did take some time to break in, but not too bad. We will have to wait and see how they last for the long term.

It's certainly better than one of those disintegrating New Balance shoes
It's certainly better than one of those disintegrating New Balance shoes; but my feet feel soaked after a few hours of use, which is why I opted to pay a bit of a premium for Gore-Tex, but it isn't much better than my dress shoes as far as keeping my feet dry goes. It's a good shoe, just not worth the price premium for its [lack of] wicking abilities.

Bought them for the El Nino rain that is expected in Los Angeles this winter, so I haven't really worn them that much yet.
