Worked great for me!
Works great! I have been using two of these for about 3 months now. One is the normally open and one is normally closed. I am using them together with a wood stove and furnace both supplying the same plenum. The dampers close up nice against the foam strip they have inside and stop almost all the air. If one of these is used near an occupied space in your home, just be prepared for the sound they make returning to normal. The motors are geared down, so when the spring starts pulling the damper to "normal" it whines a little for maybe 5 seconds. No big deal in my opinion and I am happy with the results of the units.

Good enough for me.
I have 2ea. 6" dampers of the same type and manufacture currently in use. They work well so far and were easy to install. By the time my project is over, I will install 3ea. 8", 2ea. 6" and 2ea. 12" zone control dampers. Most likely Suncourt. I only wish there was a transformer listed that would operate all 7 dampers if opened at the same time. That is, so I don't have 7 individual power supplies doing what one heavy duty transformer would do.

Very disappointed
In less than one year the shaft (or drive motor) has locked up... and although this unit looked ok in quality I should have just purchased a top quality well known name brand unit and maybe just maybe I wouldn't be writing this bad review

Good but not plug and play, great support!
These are great and one time I accidentally ordered the wrong ones (normally open) they swapped it all out and paid for all shipping even though it was my mistake. You will need cables and basic electrical knowledge to wire this up.

Work as expected.
These work great, I bought a normally open and normally closed and ran them both off of one single transformer to divert air from Ethereum miners in or out of the house based on my theromastat setting. They work exactly as expected.

Okay, but better motorized dampers are out there.
Works so far. Transformer is only 12 VAC adequate,but will only power 2 dampers. Also bought a Honeywell ARD True Zone damper which is better in all respects, but you cannot get it from Amazon, I got mine from Supplyhouse.com
