Teen Film: A Critical Introduction (Film Genres)

I have elected to utilize this text for my Film Theory course for seniors at the high school level. My only criticism would hinge on the lack of inclusion of the genre encompassing Boys in the Hood (et. al) as I am teaching a predominantly African-American student body and look for texts that are inclusive of not only this demographic, but other multi-cultural demographics as well.

I had to buy this for my first year seminar for college, and I have to say its not bad! It's really informative, and allows one to really see both how "teen films" have change throughout the years.
