I bought these for my little girl (2), and didn’t realise they were for adults, however, they fit fine and she loves to put them on and off herself.The bow has metal wire in and can be removed if necessary

Not wired all the way through
Only the two little flaps have wires, when I needed the whole thing to be wired.Nice fabric though.
