Works great
Does what it's supposed to do. Holds on to the spark and seems like it will last forever.

Well made, great value
This is my second size of Sunex spark plug sockets. I reduced one star for only one reason, there is no size stamping on the socket. This is the same on the other sizes they offer, so this will apply to all of them, although I believe I gave the other size 5 stars. The laser etching is visible under normal light, but is very hard to see under warm light. My biggest issue with this is that the etching can rub off over time and use, leaving the socket not marked with a size, brand or part number.Otherwise, the tool is well made. The hex end is also a bit smaller than other brands (as seen in picture), which might prove useful in some cases. With modern cars, any time a tool is made smaller, thinner and more low profile, the better off you are likely to be. The rubber insert is for sure a cheap insert, but it does work. Those who complain that is pulls out and remains on the spark plug are not applying a bit of dielectric grease on the insert. It does not need a lot, just a light coating on the surface and inside of the hole that the plug goes into.As a DIYer, I recommend this product. It works well and is value priced. However, if you are one who will be using this tool daily, the lack of stamping might be more problematic for you. I also do not think a daily user will be happy with the rubber insert. I have other sockets like the Snap-On taper retention style and a few magnetic styles that perform better in exchange for a higher price.

Great product!
Worked for my 05’ F-150 (5.4) spark plug job. I’d recommend putting a very small dab of grease on the rubber insert to keep it from being pulled out by the plug. Worked like a charm for me after that. Good product!

Good Price. Worked great. But you may need a regular 9/16 deep socket for installing.
Worked great for removing plugs. The rubber boot was solid inside the socket and did not detach when lifting the plugs out. This is what i wanted it for. It gets 5 stars for this. However, the rubber boot gripped too much for installing. All my extensions detached before the socket released from the plug. I ended up pushing the spark plug in just enough to hold it so it would not fall and get the plug started in the hole. I used another 9/16 deep socket to tighten the plug. Easy. You can get one from the same manufacturer.

Great little Socket. A little WD-40 spray on the inside rubber boot and this releases perfectly.
This did the job perfectly. It’s a 6 point socket, not a 12, so it holds great. Spray a little WD-40 on the rubber boot inside for an easy slick release, the socket won’t get stuck on the spark plug.

Nice quality, great value
I bought this for switching plugs in my ford 5.4. Nice quality. I couldn't find a magnetic ring inside but there's a hard rubber o-ring that does the same thing

Works great for Toyota Corolla spark plugs
I read reviews of the rubber holder falling out so I added dielectric grease before hand to prevent sticking. I had 0 issues using this to replace 2017 corolla spark plugs.
