Unlike the S.H. Figuarts Sailor Moon figure, the Figuarts Zero Super Saiyan Goku figure lived up to all my expectations and lived up to all the hype too. Figuarts Zero has finally released their first line of DBZ figures and they didn't disappoint. This figure is truly a badass masterpiece with really high quality and an awesome paint job to it. Figuarts Zero got everything right with this figure, everything from Goku's hair to the energy auras surrounding him. He looks exactly how he looked in the Frieza Saga. Would've been cooler if this figure glowed in the dark, but oh well. Overall the new Figuarts Zero Goku figure is a badass, edgy figure that was definitely worth the money. So if any DBZ fan out wants an awesome figure with high quality and for a good price, then what are you waiting for? Buy this figure, you won't regret it! Can't wait for Trunks to come out and hopefully Vegeta and Gohan.

Like everyone else has said here, this is an awesome mini-statue of Goku. The lightning energy effects can come off. Careful, they're sharp! It comes with an octagonal stand that simulates a dirt field, but Goku stands perfectly even without it. This figure is in scale with S.H. Figuarts DBZ figures. Where he lacks in articulation, he makes up with a superb level of detail and excellent paint application. And he is pumped! He makes my S.H. Figuarts Saiyan Goku look so plain and weak! Only nitpick, the anatomy is a bit off, imho - I wish his biceps curved a bit more outwardly, but it's in line with Toriyama's art.A must buy for DBZ fans and highly recommended to anyone with even just a passing interest in Son Goku.

It's really nice details. I can't stop looking at at. So diden't regret getting this for pretty good price.And the figure feels like rubber plastic.

I have to say that I've been a huge Dragonball fan for the last 15+ years, so its really surprising to me that I have never owned a Dragonball figure. I mostly collect Kotobukiya's Bishoujo line which are non-articulated figures, so I am not the biggest fan of articulated ones. For some reason they always look a little off to me. However, earlier this year, when I found that this non-articulated figure would be coming out, I knew it was a must buy for me. And now that it has arrived, I couldn't be happier.Standing at just over 6" tall, the sculpt on this is just perfect. The battle damage is incredibly detailed. Also, unlike a lot of figures of Dragonball characters I've seen in the past, Goku's face is spot on, as if it was sculpted straight from the manga and anime by Akira Toriyama himself. But I especially love the translucent special effects from the tips of his Super Saiyan hairstyle to the powerful golden aura surrounding him. Keep in mind, however, that the box says that this item is for ages 15 and up, so it certainly is NOT A TOY. I wouldn't be surprised to see the price go up in the future. But right now, its a steal at only $33.99 through Amazon.I now can't wait until January when Super Saiyan Trunks comes out. If all goes well and this new Zero line proves to be as popular as I think it will be, other Dragonball Zero gems will come out like Vegeta, Piccolo, and Gohan. If you are a fan of Dragonball, it comes highly recommend by me. Do yourself a favor and pick this one up before they either become too expensive or hard to find. You certainly will not regret it!

Fake figure do not buy, when i received my package i could tell by the box that it had been opened before n that the item was not authentic the figure looked similar but overall poor cuality do not buy im sending mine back!!!

This is very detailed figure.the only problem is its size. it is kind of small compared to the same series of Trunks I got.Goku was supposed to be stronger and taller than trunks.Also based on the size of the head, it should have longer and wider body. this is kind of thin and short version of goku.That is embarrasing.

The first of my Figuarts Zero collection, Super Saiyan Goku delivers that nostalgic moment from when he first turned Super Saiyan against Frieza. The facial expression gives me the same chills that Frieza got when Goku looked him dead in the eye. The sculpt and paint job is fantastic. The hair is almost a translucent plastic with a metallic gold color. The lightning energy effects add more life to this figure as it captures the energy surrounding Goku in his Super Saiyan form; plus they are also removable so you can display him with or without them. As this is a Figuarts Zero, it is not poseable. It is a static figure, and meant to be for display only. Overall, I love this figure. Now I just need to get SSJ Vegeta and SSJ Trunks, and my SSJ Figuarts collection is complete!

For a small figure, Goku is highly detailed. You can see the bruises and rips from his fight with Frieza. I recommend this figure if you're a DBZ fan!!
