Impressive
I have used henna to dye my hair for the last 8 years, in that time I have used several brands only going for 100% henna no additives and definitely no matalic salts. I used my own method which includes using hot not boiling water to make my henna up with a good splash of lemon juice and a little clove oil for fragrance. Then I applied it for 3 to 4 hours depending on if I can be bothered I always get good result and loads of compliments. This henna is amazing I only applied for 2 hour due to being hungover and wanted to shower and nap. The colour payout is brilliant it's not like other hennas I have used this one was so creamy and not gritty in the slightest and the stain was insane, I did have doubts as the colour looked muddy green when mixing but hay am happy. Very happy customer who will be ordering more in the future. I used 100g on thin but very long hair

Good colour payoff and soft hair
I'm very happy with this henna. It's the third brand of henna I've tried and I'd say it gives off the strongest colour so far for me, and quite a deep red on my hair.The first henna I tried was the Lush block - the colour was nice but quite subtle but it was incredibly messy and hard to remove from my hair, and it's quite expensive compared to powdered henna. I did quite a lot of research and decided to try traditional powdered henna, I looked for a well reviewed brand and organic BAQ henna - which I was happy with. However, when that ran out, I decided to try this brand, it has less reviews but I decided to order it anyway, just to try another brand. I'd also heard that henna can vary from region to region, so thought I'd see if this was any different to the last, and how much I'd like it.It's comparable to the other in looks and consistency and smell. It mixes easily enough and applies fairly easily - I mix it in a small pot and then use a small tinting brush to apply to the roots and usually gloved hands for the ends and to finish off. I usually leave henna on for 3 hours, i find that's enough for me to get the results I want.The result is very nice. It has the strongest colour of any so far and quite a rich deep red on me. My hair feels soft and shiny. I'd say it does actually feel softer than with the previous brand. I'm happy with this and will buy it again.

Fresh, good quality henna!
This henna is much better quality than the brand I had previously been purchasing from the hair shop. As soon as I opened it and smelled it I knew it was the good stuff, nice green colour and smelled as it should. I clarified my hair first using a non conditioning shampoo so my hair was super clean.My recipe included hot (not boiling) water, added lavender essential oil, a table spoon of aloe vera juice and a table spoon of apple cider vinegar. The henna took to my hair really well.This was the first step of dying my hair black using indigo (to cover my greys), so I needed the henna to take to my hair well, and I have no complaints. All my greys are now completely gone (after the indigo step).I would advise that you need to use the whole packet. I have shoulder length 3B/4A hair (afro) which is bra strap length when stretched. If you have very thick or long hair you may need two packets.I'm putting in another order now, and have no problem sticking to this brand as long as the quality remains this high! Thank you Evenea Naturals for delivering a great product.

Very fine henna powder
The product arrived bang on time.The henna smells lovely, no chemical smells like other brands, the powder is super fine, no clumps or twigs.I used it for henna body art, the colour release is slow (needs about 12 hours), the initial stain is light (even after 12 hours on the skin) but darkens more after 24 hours post paste removal. I am a little disappointing with the colour, I was expecting a darker staining esp since I added all the good stuff to the mix (honey, oil, lemon, tea).But for everyday henna art its fine.

Good item. Used for henna body art
This is a fine green powder that I used to make henna for body art. I added sugar, lemons juice and essential oils, let it sit for dye release for 24 hours. (It took longer than 24 hrs for me because (1) lemon juice makes it take longer and (2) I used cold juice from the fridge and really should have warmed it up a bit.) I sifted the mixture using a stocking and transfered to my cones. This gave a smooth paste that did not block the cones, came out nice and stringy for when designing, and gave an excellent deep brown colour after wearing it overnight.

Poor quality.
It doesn't smell strong like natural henna, after leaving the henna on the skin -not much colour stain, almost looks as if other kind of leaves was added to increase the amount. I don't recommend it, it's not worth purchasing this.

Great Natural hair dye which adds body to fine hair
I get a lovely Auburn colour with this which covers the ever increasing grey well - I have been using henna for a couple of years but it has been a lifesaver whilst salons have been closed. My hair is also rather fine and I find the henna gives it more body. I make a thick paste with hot water then thin to a more useable texture with conditioner.I think the PH buffers in the conditioner enhance the colour- I have also tried adding lemon juice or green tea but these seem to damage my hair a little. A really good option for covering grey as you can just apply it to the whole head every month. I leave on about an hour before rinsing off - ideally don't wash til the next day. Half a pack is enough for me but it obviously depends on how much hair you have.

Great henna.
This is a wonderful henna, it looks nice and smells nice, ideal if you are going to leave it in your hair for hours. And most important of all it has a great colour, and much better than the brands I've always bought.

Fast shipping and excellent packaging. The Leatherman tool feels very premium and sturdy.
Refer to product description for usage instructions: 'Pure henna only dyes hair warm-red. To create different colours, such as burgundy, dark brown or black, use henna together with other natural products (hibiscus, indigo, amla, cassia, etc.). Warning: pure henna is a natural product for hair colouring. If you had recently used chemical dye on your hair, please wait for at least 4 weeks before using henna.'

As this is a completely natural organic henna powder without any additives, the resulting colour is very individual and will greatly depend on the structure, condition and original colour of the hair. The best way would be to make a strand test and see if you like the colour you get from using just henna powder or if you would need to add any other natural products to the paste, for example cassia powder, and how long you would need to keep the paste on your hair. Please keep in mind that henna will not make the colour of your hair lighter than it is right now.\nI hope this answer helps. Have a great day!\nKind regards, Evenea Naturals"}},{"@type":"Question","name":"will it change my curl pattern?","acceptedAnswer":{"@type":"Answer","text":"It can do."}},{"@type":"Question","name":"Can I use this to dye my grey beard?","acceptedAnswer":{"@type":"Answer","text":"Yup. For sure. Depending on your hair colour, it's going to get coloured though. Depends on your hair colour. If black hair, then there will be a reddish/brownish tone (depending how black your hair is)... it's mostly subtle but the greys will take on/show more colour than your other hairs.\n\nIf you have lighter coloured hair...brunette through to blonde... then the colour will be even more noticeable. \n\nSuggestion for you, buy a pack. Mix it. Then do a few test strands ... leave for roughly an hour (with henna the longer you leave it, the deeper the colour takes) so I'm saying an hour because that should be enough time to find out how responsive your hair is. \n\nAfter an hour. Rinse the strands and if you're happy with the colour then stick to the hour but if you want less, or more, colour then adjust accordingly. \n\nIf you have black hair, look into mixing henna with some indigo... have a look on YouTube especially to see how henna (and indigo) work on different hair colours and types :)"}}]}]}
