These router guide bearings are a perfect match for two of my router bits that use 1/2" bearings to guide them along (one cheap Ryobi chamfer bit and one random FivePears bit).My calipers - though not calibrated perfectly - measure them out at 0.500" on the nose.The fit was a bit snug over the top of the chamfer bit I was fixing, but - with a very steady hand - I ran the bit slowly and smoothed the shank with some 320 grit sandpaper. The new bearing slid snugly down right after that and went right to work finishing off my project pieces without a hitch.The package even came with replacement screws and a hex wrench as well...nice feature.For a buck a piece, these are a great addition to have in the shop, especially seeing as I'm at a routing standstill without a replacement handy. Altogether, nicely done!

These bearings are an easy replacement for original bearings. Be sure to oil them before using though. They work and work, unlike some original bearings.

These are not very precise quality. But overall a satisfactory replacement for any router bit that has lost its bearing. I wish these come with a spacing washer. Some bits have this washer and the washer likely to be damaged when the bearing is damaged. The cost of a washer is insignificant, but it is difficult to find the right diameter and thickness. These bearings are intended for the router bits, thus a complete set - bearing, washer and screw, would be desirable.

My old router bit bearings were worn out and the bit was cutting too deep. This beat buying new bits.

I am happy with this product. It is nice to have spare guide bearings for guided router bits. They don't last forever and keeping a stock is handy.
