Not a very sexy subject, cutting toe and fingernails, but can be an effort for a contortionist to get a good view and access to toes I am not wont to handle regularly. Standard clippers seem to not fit well into spaces, allow "over-clip", cuts on parts not intended or easily seen. The clippers are quite substantial, and I really appreciate the thick blade cover, likely to last longer than just shipping in the box. I find the curve to the blade much more appropriate to my toenail size than standard clippers. Standard clippers can also be slippery, difficult to close on thicker nails or just not big enough to fit them. None of these are problems with this set. I don't think the product listing, as I recall, included mention of the nail cleaner piece included, but I have found this to be wonderful, easier to use than standard clippers and without the sharp point on standard clippers. The substantial handles mean I can watch the cutting blades, not the handle, insuring a careful cut, not slipping to take too much nail or something else not intended. I would happily purchase again, though they are solid enough I cannot imagine I will ever need to.

Have been using this product for over a year. It has been very helpful for clipping thick nails. Regular nail clippers were hard to hold and would slip out of my hand but these have large, comfort handles making them easier to grip. They also have a sharp and wide blade. Would definitely recommend for anyone but especially people who are having issues with gripping/strength. Great quality.

These work OK, but the handle comes off one side and it has to be slid back on often. I don’t like that. It doesn’t stay on. They should fix that. I’m going to look for a second choice now because of that; otherwise it works well.

I bought these to cut my elderly mom’s super thick overgrown toenails. I had previously tried and failed with another pair of old jaw-style toe nail cutters she had which were not sharp enough. The initial set-up of these ones was weird at first. They provide two springs but you can only put one in at a time to use it. So I put one in, following the instructions provided, soaked my mom’s feet for about 15 minutes and got going. It worked out great. The blades are very sharp and I like how the thick plastic handles gave me a good grip. I was able to cut through all the toenails, even the big toe, with ease. The kit also includes a nice scraper for under the nail. I used that afterward and pulled out a bunch of junk. I’m glad I made this purchase and will continue to use it to help my mom keep her toenails short and clean.

This works great for toenail cutting. It makes the process easier when mobility is an issue, and the clipper can be easily placed when reaching down to cut thick toenails. I like the spring action, which occurs when the clipper is taken out of the box and the spring arms are simply moved into place. It's easy to forget to do this, and I did at first, but it makes all the difference to set the spring action up so that the nail cutting is done carefully. I don't have to move my leg up over my knee to cut my toenails anymore! This is a high-quality clipper that can be directed in many different ways to do the job carefully and effectively. I love it!
