I love this mermaid coloring book one of Selina’s best!

I was desperately looking for a mermaid coloring book that was for adults, and I’m glad to have found this. I love that you basically get two copies of the book, so there’s room to experiment with colors. The pages are one sided, so if you use markers you don’t have to worry about it bleeding through and ruining another picture

I purchased this coloring book for my mother, she absolutely loves it, not only is the artwork amazing and brings wholesomeness to your heart looking at the artwork, the actual book itself is wonderful Quality. It’s a silky smooth feeling to the touch very pleasing !!! My mother is unable to leave her bed, she is on hospices care and this book brought so much joy and light into her week so far, she keeps talking about how much she loves it and wants all the others from the same artist.She loves how there are also second pages to share so we can both color together. That was an amazing idea! If I could give 100 stars I would for how happy this book makes my mom.Thank you !! I will be purchasing more soon !!

I love the are and I use it for relaxing!

Although Selina's books are called "adult coloring books" I bought this one along with 4 others (5 total) as Christmas gifts for my 7 year old who is very creative & artistic. I wanted something to inspire & challenge her more bc she & I both agree that kids coloring books are pretty much all the same cartoons with no vision. After receiving the books and reviewing them to make sure they would be appropriate, which they absolutely are, I found them to be absolutely beautiful & the perfect gift for her. When she opened them on Christmas she fell absolutely in love with them, and even better is that they have inspired her. Not only does she love learning how to color them like an adult artist (with blending, contouring, shading, ect.), but Selina has inspired & challenged her to learn how to create on a higher level with her own drawings, paintings, and so forth. I also love her coloring in Selina's books. I suffer from many health issues, and so I have found that whenever I get stressed or anxious I ask my daughter if I can color in one of her books (which she always says yes). I have found a new outlet coloring her beautiful drawings. They help me relax and clear my mind of whatever is happening within and around me. An even better thing about Selina's books is that there are 2 of every drawings in each book so my daughter & I can color the same picture together yet separately when we want and see how different yet beautiful we can color them.

The picture is actually from a print off I found on the internet BUT imagine my surprise finding it here in this book. I really love this one. It is one of my faves. So I will enjoy being able to do a different take on this. The unfortunate part is there are two of these in the coloring book (along with the other pictures, there are duplicates). I am pretty disappointed in duplicates in every book I have bought. BUT, I am pretty resourceful and will just do different ideas on the same page. Another concern is I have done a couple from this book already and if you remove the pictures from the book, the paper quality is not great and rolls up easily. Tape the picture down to your coloring surface to help with that. Mine is mobile so it was easy to attach some tape to the corners. Despite the very SMALL issues, I do love these books!!!! The picture quality is AMAZING

This coloring book is fantastic! I tend to get overwhelmed by coloring books that are ridiculously intricate, but not challenged enough with simpler coloring books. This coloring book is truly a happy medium. I love the fact that this coloring book includes two prints of all the pictures, allowing the colorer to make new choices on the same art....very smart. I could even see this being a great feature for a parent and child (or even friends) to color the same picture together. The art itself is beautiful and incredibly fun to color....I mean seriously, who doesn't want to color mystical mermaids with an Art Nouveau vibe? The pages are nice, but probably not thick enough to use marker or light watercolor without removing the page to avoid bleed through. I've only been using color pencils so far and the paper really grabs the pigment, unlike some coloring books I have that end up making the colors much too light. I'm really happy I decided to purchase and I've been coloring in it since I opened it. You're never too old to color! I'm 32 and I find it very meditative and creatively stimulating, especially when you want to do something creative but don't have the time or mindset to create something from scratch.I'd definitely repurchase in the future for myself or as a gift!

Two copies of each in case you want to try different techniques. Awesome pictures.

Love this colouring book, the only thing I would suggest is to put cardboard or a thick piece of paper between the pages as you colour (especially if you’re like me and use markers or gel pens) as they may transfer onto the next page. But other than that the pictures are beautiful.

Nice book second oneA little bit disappointed in quality of paper but well priced

Great images, good price/value for money, fast delivery and arrived in great condition. I ordered this book after I had received the Fairy Companions Greyscale Edition which I absolutely LOVED and thought I would try a line art version. I was very disappointed. The line art was no where near as appealing as the greyscale images from this artist. I will definitely order more colouring books from this artists but only the greyscale ones as I find them easier to colour.

BEST BOOK OF MERMAIDS OUT THEREThis is a lovely book and the images are beautifully drawn, I was incredibly happy with my purchase. Selina has a unique style which is nice to see and if you ever want inspiration her website and facebook have all of her original artwork coloured for you to peruse.For me there is a slight downfall to the book set out, but as it's personal opinion I haven't dropped any stars.The book has 50 images - 2 sets of 25 so you have the option to colour these twice, which is great to share the book, if you make a mistake, or you want to try a different way of colouring said picture. So there are definitely pro's to this, however for me as the paper is quite thin, I remove the pictures and scan (for my own use only) to reprint on better paper or card (whichever takes my fancy). Due to this I feel it would be preferable to have 50 different images as the paper quality isn't great (even for pencils it has torn) and most of the colourists I know remove and scan these books.It is probably to do with the publisher more than the artist, and this book is a great price.I still highly recommend the book, as I say this is based on my individual feelings and experience of buying various colouring books.

This is without a doubt the best mermaid book I have seen and I have become quite a fan of Selina as her work can be very beautiful. You are inspired to want to colour her pictures many times over using and experimenting different colours for the same pictures. So far I have only used paint and colouring pencils which I am happy with the results. As I love pyrography I will probably trace some out on wood and paint them and varnish them afterwards which will give a new depth to these pictures. I thoroughly recommend her colouring collections of mermaids and fairies to all and will be buying more of her work.
