I live in the middle of nowhere so it’s hard to get my hands on Ube.I am part Filipina and I always look forward to ube and other Filipino treats.So when I saw this listing I knew I had to try this.The bread was so fresh! I really wish there was more ube in it. It was actually a bit disappointing. I expected there to be more ube in it.The ube was soft and creamy. The flavor was very light. I would’ve loved a stronger ube flavor.Nonetheless, this was SO yummy! I will buy it again. It was fresh and delicious. It shipped very fast, too. I got my package within a few days.I hope to see more ube treats in the future. I cannot find ube anywhere around me so ordering on amazon is my next best bet

I was really craving Filipino baked goods. I first did a search for "ensaymada" on Amazon. No ensaymada came up on the results, but this ube loaf did! Based on the positive reviews, decided to go for the three-pack. It arrived this morning and had it with my morning tea. YUM!! Very tasty and fresh. Just the right amount of sweetness for me. Very pleased with this purchase, I will definitely order again. Will probably try other options from Gwenie's Pastries too.

wow this was top notch! it got here so much faster than the expected delivery and ohhhh my gosh. i opened it right away.. perfect condition.. super soft bread.. amazing quality everything! I ate the whole loaf with a cup of coffee.. it was a total accident.. but it was damn goooood! ube is life.. thank you!

First of I wish I could give zero star for this item because it deserves 0 star. anyway here goes I ordered this item las week and it came yesterday September 11 2023 I know that I had to eat them immediately before it gets bad cus it’s a bread so I did, but after eating one slice I got sick my stomach has been hurting really bad and I didn’t sleep the whole night because of not only the pain but I have been throwing up and going to the bathroom the whole night anyway I’m not trying to bad mouth the seller I’m just giving people a warning cus I don’t want what happened to me to happens to them

I liked it, but I like all Chinese pastries, it’s ok, kinda pricey, taste fresh, buy this instead of their hopia, lol

I lived in San Diego 17 years ago. While I lived there (for 11 years), I found a Pilipino bakery that made and sold pan de ube. I loved it! I moved away and I've been looking for it for 17 years!! . This is so similar and I'm so happy.
