I do NOT recommend this product at all. I bought the lavender and the pink powder bled all over my white clothes. The next time I put while clothes into the washer I did NOT put the packet in but the powder must have gotten into the machine and my clothes came out with pink spots all over. Don't buy the lavender one!

Q: Can anyone tell me what detergent you use so as not to take away from this scent???

Hi, Charlie's soap is good as it is unscented. Also, if you are using a large capacity machine (I have a front loading LG) and are filling it up, you should use 2 tabs. I have done it with only one, but the scent isn't as strong. I hope this helps!

Q: the product comes in a pouch - what happens to the pouch after wash? is there a remaining plastic film in the washer after you take your laundry out?

Simply place a Snuggle Scent Pac into the washer drum before adding your laundry. The Pac will dissolve during the wash cycle and leave no plastic film.

Q: Does this work better than the Scent shakes?

I would say the same, but the scents packs are more economical and convenient in my opinion. I only use 1 pack per load of laundry. With scent shakes, I only get maybe 10 loads of laundry, probably less. This bucket lasts way longer for me than the scent shakes. I do use a cap of snuggle fabric softener as well in wash cycle.
